i don't hope so, the complicated method is there to control the foreign land purchase. If we make it easier and simple, the amount of foreign investors will boom and it will increase the price very quickly. Even without foreign investors, the land price in Indonesian cities and prime locations are having a minimum of 15% hike every year. My house is marketed at $200,000, it is 250m2 and considered as a "upper-middle" real estate. If we make it easier for foreign investors to buy such houses here, it'd be marketed at $350,000 which is still considered affordable for a luxury real estate, leaving locals out of the property transactions. I hope you'd consider the impact on low purchase power of local people.
It is good to be informed about the laws of the countries where you want to invest, they seem to me to be an organization with a lot of experience and they transmit the message easily and effectively.
