Bjj guy has a little striking experience, but the untrained fighter hasn’t trained his striking background for a while(speaks a lot for what happens when you don’t maintain your art)
Even if he wasn’t , (which judging by the defense it still wouldn’t have mattered too much) you could also say the BJJ guy wasn’t trying 100% either. That was actually a very patient takedown and probably one of the more compromised submissions to go for. If he really wanted to be a threat to someone untrained, back take is what he likely would have gone for.

Exactly, once somebody is trained and knows a little bit of BJJ defence these guys go on a two digit loss record. Just look at the records of any bjj guy in the ufc (after 2010 cuz back then nobody knew BJJ. Nowadays it's outdated and practioners are too ignorant to admit to it).

He could have taken 3 knees to the face. Somebody who's trained can tell when a takedown is going to happen and can even set it up so they do try and take you down so you can give the knee. Bjj fighting is just a different type of fighting when I had never experienced my friend who is brown belt jujutsu practioner (16) and me a black stripe brown karate belt (16) did a grappling match it was unreal the movements and I moved like a baby
