It's easy to get on program and give advise. There are different levels to Autism. People function differently and even though they appear able bodied and strong they have limitations. They have to be evaluated and treated accordingly. Can't stay at a distance and diagnose and say what they can and cannot do. Blessings
Yes, there are different spectrums of autism but if given direction those young men can do something. The father could direct them on how to do something. Distractions would stop them from walking away from home. Could be taught how to help with chicken rearing. They haven't been taught how to do anything and that's where the problems come in. They should have been going to school for the disabled from a very young age. I am talking because have in-laws with autism and they function independently. Just takes good directions and not medications to keep them silent. And I am a medical provider with enough knowledge!!
Autistic children always need proper supervision. They can not be left on their own any at all. They are not able to do many things for themselves. It's not that they don't want to, but have no control over what they do. It takes a lot of patience and love to work with these children/ adults. If you have one, it's hard, much more two.
Autism is a developmental disability that is significantly affecting verbal and nonverbal communication and social interaction.

@@ShanZenZenJamaicanVibez they can't bathes themselves properly, I know them ,I told the the one who says he is a dejay to bathe,an my friend had to bathe him . The travel the street ,the walk from Porus to mandivell. They are loved in the community,not trouble makers .

These guys need therapy some one who will teach them how to take care of themselves
These young men are capable of helping the father with chicken and bathing themselves with reminders and coaching. Father doesn't want them to be productive.
If you reach out and help it would sound better than sit and criticize 🙏
They might look able bodies, but if you know autistic people are more mental. Many of them cannot perform minimal task such as bathing themselves, or even writing, communicating (expressive and receptive). It is not easy for them. They should have been getting ABA therapy.
The father has a lot on his, plate and he does the best that he can under the circumstances by the will of God bless them all 🙏🏼💯❤️

These young men are from the community I live in..they are autistic for real..but theybareba joy..always smiling always willing to help people for anything you have to give them.the ilder on looooves to dance..i have a video of him and my lottle daughter dancing to micheal jackson...they are really good boys..respectable..he did a great job raising them...

Some people are misunderstanding what autism is .. Jamaica doesn't highlight these things and thats y some of us are so hard to understand.. until one have experience it . same with dementia and Alzheimer's these things need to be teached ...
Autism affects one's brain. They cannot help their situation. Each is at different level. You guys need to read about autism before being judgmental.

Lord please send destiny helper I know exactly what he’s going through I have a 6 yr old that is autistic and adhd very rough situation but I live in America so the government help me with them so I empathize with this father because I know that it is very challenging with the autistic kids Lord please let destiny helper come their way heal their minds body and soul please Jesus hear my cry on their behalf

That’s not true. My son was recognized. However it was a hard task to get him the proper things done especially when your poor and without healthcare

I have a grandson who's autistic. He bath himself he's 11 and he's very smart. They love electronics. He's very independent. Supervision and patience eventually they will get it. Praying. Autism has different level..so all who has it is not the same
Autism is NOT standard. It is not one size fit all. It js a SPECTRUM. So while your grandson can help himself with a shower not everyone with autism can do that.

Good morning everyone ❤. I have to agree with the suggestion that they can bathe themselves. They're not crippled. It's a sad situation! What government? They're not going to do anything to help the poor people. Wow! Autistic children already have neurological problems and giving medication only makes problems worse. I know some people on here will say better to donate than criticize but I have been a donor for over two years and I believe the boys can help themselves by bathing. God bless them! The house just needs some painting and new furniture. Maybe some good-hearted furniture store owners can donate. The chicken rearing will allow him to stay close to his sons.
How they can sing and dance, so they can bathe them self,I have two autistic nephews and they can help them selves very well. They just didn't teach them when they were younger.

So sad i know how he feels. I've a 7 years old grandson but the good thing is that hes living in a 1st country. Autistic children are not recognized in our Jamaican education system.
