Accurate info. I grew up on this bay and I've seen too many boats stuck on the unmarked rocks. The public roads are a great place to walk as traffic is light on Shaw, be respectful of private property. There are parks and preserves where you can explore.
They fail to mention that most of the strong prevailing winds are from the NE and that this bay is not a good anchorage in the winter. The roads around Blind Bay are not suitable for your dogs to "relieve themselves" and there is no walking room on the road's shoulder. Overall tourism and boaters are discouraged from coming ashore except to the store and ferry landing area.
