    Turpentine and alcohol tanning?

      Yes. Its really not tanning more like pickling. But for a wall hangers. Takes like a week but works for thin skinned critters like yotes and squirrels. Learned it from Chuck Testa's channel. He is a taxidermist and thats how he does thin skinned mounts.

    You should get the old wax off before you re dye them !!

      Why? The old wax melts off and floats to top.
