I just figured Hornady was the same. I failed to read directions. So I hated the hornady. But since then I really like them. I think it was 6.5 PRC RCBS haddn't came out with dies yet. I know at 30 yards it takes .33 seconds for the arrow to get there. So it was closer to 1/2 a second of flight on moveing deer. Thats what happened on the coyote if you watch the long version. He did what they call duck the arrow... It was like 6 weeks ago I was on the water getting the last tan of the year. Today its 35 and spitting snow

      @outdoorswithcam Coyotes have a limited color spectrum and are color blind to red, orange, and green. This is because they have protanopia dichromacy, which means they are unable to see long wavelength colors. I hunt yotes at night with thermal scope and as far as turkey hunting goes never wear anything red someone may mistake you for one and you might get shot at, I've heard a lot of horror stories of the years , stay safe and enjoy the hunt my friend

    So..2 years ago, I asked a mechanic to replace my 1998 Dodge Caravan 2.4L fuel filter that was changed 22 years ago. When he did it he cracked the fuel pump connectors and it leaked gas. I paid for the part and he did labor free. Bosch. The gauge read low. Still had 5 gallons left when gauge was at E. He replaced it and same level issue. I said forget it and was same for 2 years and 2 months. The sensor started making the fuel gauge needle go down and the chime came on with the gas tank idiot light coming on. I GOOGLED it and saw complaints like this and saw might be caused by sulfur in gas tarnishing the metal on the sensor metal.. I put in 2 bottles of Techron plus and for a time chime was lot less but now is awful!. So far I can't find what metal the sensor windings are made of for BOSCH. I see 2 brands, one using gold (Delphi) and other silver palladium. THEN... I see ranges of 70 to 1050 OHMS for replacement pumps (ON Rock Auto info on their pump assortments. and then I see 33 to 240 for Bosch and American makes. I was about to put a cheat resistor in the harness to make it so I could stop the low level CHIME stop. BUT now I don't know what value to put in. I was going to put in a 680 or 750 OHM but when I saw this new range. I put a temp hold on this cheat. The gauge anti- slosh makes the needle move slower but the chime comes on right away. I think the float needle is getting to a dead high OHM spot on the sensor. I found out a couple weeks ago that Bosch went to a lifetime warranty.. but there are qualifiers and so I will see what push back I get from Bosch.

    • @outdoorswithcam
      @outdoorswithcam 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      WOW sorry you are having all these problems. I thought the sulfer on gauge was a GM problem. Never hurt of it on Dodge. But what do I know...

    • @bobreese4807
      @bobreese4807 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@outdoorswithcam When I called Bosch tech support yesterday (about fuel pump), I asked him what metal the sensor windings were made of. He had no data for answer. He didn't have the OHMS range of the sensor either. The range is usually about 30-1050 OHMS on other after market pumps. ..and shows on Rock Auto spec lists. Dephi has gold compound, another after market has silver palladium.. One uses brass. My original pump lasted 26 years, 160k miles and no gauge problem. Now I am trying to find details so I don't have problems with pumps like this one that has a problem just 2 years later. One can see multi complaints on the fuel level sensors on the internet. And..I have been using Costco top tier gas. Interesting, Maybe a coincidence, but this problem happened right after I put in Costco premium. Also , I recently put in BG 44k too. For a long time, my MPG was at 15-17 on street instead of 20. The mechanic told me carbon deposits, so I have been trying to clean out with Techron. For 26 year old van the mileage is low, now 172K. The transmission is rebuilt 2nd time. Had it recently painted The vehicle is only used about 5k miles a year. Not ready to junk it at all.

    • @bobreese4807
      @bobreese4807 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@outdoorswithcam Since I have been an electronic tech for 50 years..I plan on doing a modification to the sensor wiring to shut the chime off. I am installing a 750 or 820 OHM resistor across the sensor wires that are in the harness that attaches to the fuel pump. That will make the computer think that there is at least 1/4 tank at all times even when the sensor float rod hit an open circuit point on the sensor metal windings. When there is a connection of the float rod, the gauge will read higher but I use the miles trip feature to check the gas remaining. Since I have had the Bosch, it didn't read correctly anyway. Too bad I didn't know about transferring float & rod of original to the new pump.

      @@bobreese4807 Where to buy resistors in todays world? I used to do all kinds of mods. When I used to drag race my trans ams. I would go out and measure the OHM of the IAT sensor when it was a 30 degrees outside. Then I would go to radio Shack and buy a resistor with same value. Then when it was summer and I was raceing. I would pull the plug off sensor and stick resistor the into the plug. So basically telling computer its 30 degrees when it really 90 out. So it would dump the fuel. I have never boiled or pressure washed a skull. I macerate them. I have done dozens. I can't image power washing a skull. How are you not blowing out the delicate conchae, styloid process or palate. When the periosteum is removed from the coronal suture there is a slight play. Its not loose but there is just slight .002" "play". That is what the glue fills and removes that play. Also glue the nasal and palate suture. With boiling your cooking the skull. Most boiled skulls I have seen the conchae is destroyed. I can't image hitting that paper thin delicate bone with a power washer. How do you not blow it out? I like the Increment detail of the conchae and styloid. I also glue the mandible back on to.

      @outdoorswithcam after the cable sheaths are made, they are placed in a mold and the heated material bonds to the sheath and shape, but deteriorates over several years, usually after crushing the ferrule, it disintegrates, but grip lines left on cable must be scrapped down or sanded down a little before aluminum ferrule is added. I just recently repaired all side doors, but the manual stem lock isn't moving, but everything else does, it's a real bugger

Remember when you couldn't find 4350 or varget. Still can't find RL26. It was the best thing out of 6.5 PRC. Or how about Trailboss. My suppressed 308 loves that stuff. I have more videos that I never uploaded. TH-cam has gone back and demonetized most of my reloading videos and they were hurting the channel. How about my308 videos.
