Car manufacturers love to advertise their big HP numbers, but a lot of people fail to realize those numbers are almost always BHP, not RWHP. The Fast Intention set-up definitely gave you your moneys worth.
Nice!!!! The Q60 IS TRULY UNDERRATED MAN!! I was going for the Audi S5.... had my appointment with a dealer and all and saw a 2018 redsport... The S5 was suddenly ugly!! lol.... Got a link for the new pipes you installed? I still got my stocks on...and looking for some roar but not raspy, this was perfect man!!
I like the sound man. My main concern is with droning. Glad you confirmed there is none. I wonder if that would be the case is you went with the non resonated version. I cant decide b/t res and non res.
Brian McGuire thanks a lot man. I feel like the sound is even better over time. I can’t confirm about the non-resonated version but I’m sure it has slightly more drone. If I wasn’t adding the LDPs I would have gone non-resonated but the LDPs and resonated CBE was a perfect combo IMO. Resonated without the LDP was a bit to quiet for me.
So you got the 14 " but with the resonated x pipe ? Cause I read the 10 " sport muffler comes non resonated while the 14" touring muffler does come resonated
Oscar Loera no I have the 10 in sport mufflers with the Resonated X-pipe. They are separate so you can get them with either setup. At least on FI website you can. I think what your referring to is 14” being the size of the resonators.
@@west33k Ordered the AMS LDP and FI CBE w/resonated xpipe and 14" touring mufflers thanks to this video. Unfortunately I'm still waiting for it, been 4 months now.......I'm dying here! Thanks again for the vid.

Lalo GTX no, the LDP are not resonated. It does remove the second set of cats which adds a deeper tone. I have had absolutely zero issues and no CEL. The is very little to no drone whatsoever at cruising speeds but opens up under acceleration. I was very concerned about it myself but am very happy with the result
Nice , cause I just ordered FI cbe with the 14 " muffler but with the x pipe non res but I have the ams 3 " in downpipes . Hopefully it doesn't so to loud or much rasp cause this setup is perfect
Were you a little heat soaked when you did the stock dyno run? I have a 2016 Red Sport Q50 and my stock dyno numbers were 375RWHP and 360RWTQ. You mentioned you live in Florida, so that might have a little to do with it as well....
Big Dog Street Performance I don’t think so because I was very easy on the car the short drive to the dyno. I was expecting more after seeing other RedSports pulling similar numbers like yours but I would assume it’s due to the Florida heat and humidity. When it’s colder during winter the car feels much more powerful to me. Maybe I’ll do another dyno. Alpha HE and a tune is coming before next summer!!!
Ah I have been looking for a good sounding exhaust for my 3.0t! I feel like this is exactly what I'm looking for without all the gaudiness, just a solid upgrade, it seems. It sounds beautiful, excellent job! Is there a comparable kit for the 3.0t? I'm headed to FI right now...
zzabrisk hey thanks a lot. I debated for a while and had all the same concerns as many others but turned out very happy with this set up. I’m sure you will love it. yes, the sound clips and dyno are with the FI lower down pipes and exhaust. The sound was decent with just the exhaust installed but the LDPs made it a little louder and deeper which was much better in my opinion.
Yes they are 400Hp stock to the crank (the engine) however typical RWD cars lose an average of 15% HP when the power is transferred through the drivetrain to the wheels as calculated on a dyno. So 400hp minus 15% = 340 HP to the Wheels.
@@NinjAsaya AWD has more components so the parasitic loss is typically a bit more (around 20%) but more grip to all wheels can be more useful at times.
