  • This track was built over a couple of days in the valley of my backyard. It sits in the middle of the fairway for one of our disc golf holes. Originally when I built it, all I had was a Durtrax Evader and a Traxxas E-Maxx but I knew I would eventually expand the stable of trucks. That eventually included the Arrma Sneton BLX seen in the racing at the end. Thanks for check it out and I hope you enjoyed the build!

Heh Duratrax Evader and Traxxas E-Maxx, very 2002 RC cars! I got into RC and had a RC10T3 about that same time

Ha you got it! Basically pulled them out of storage to see if I could get them running again. Then got reinspired and built the track followed by buying the Senton. Old trucks still hold a special place in my heart though. The evader is pretty much down to its last legs. The trans is pretty destroyed and buying a replacement would be more expensive than just buying a new truck.

i love the way you pull up the grass like its a freaking carpet. LOL

Haha, thanks! It's basically exactly how it worked out. I even just rolled up some and set it aside for later use like a roll of carpet as well. That said, the netting that was under it caused serious havoc if not totally covered up as the tires got caught super easy in it.

Thank you! It was a fun project. We had a ton of trees fall on our property recently, so I haven't really had a chance to drive it this year 🙁 Maybe some new mods after that!

That's genius how your rolled the grass up for borders and jumps, I didnt have enough grass where I put mine but I wouldnt have thought of it anyways haha nice job buddy

Thanks! I thought it was a good idea right up until the mesh that was under the grass started grabbing the tires and causing me to twist axels ha! Had to cover them with more dirt, with still wasn't too bad.

@@jcurtiscustoms ah I guess I didnt see the mesh. I cut what grass I had real short and the tilled my track up and raked dirt to the edges to do essentially what you did just using dirt for borders now I have some corrugated pipe but not near enough I only have like 125 ft of pipe border and need probably another 800ft

@@jameswisecarver Nice! I think I would go the corrugated pipe if I had the choice. I have some laying around the yard that I may end up adding / replacing in spots. But like you said, it requires a lot and I am not looking to spend for that haha. Post a vid when you finish yours up!
