Thank you so much Rylee, I am just trying to decide how to arrange my FIRST ever bullet journal (an Archer and Olive) for myself to use in 2022. So many ideas and tips which have made me think what will suit me with my lifestyle ie music practice, card making, water colouring, jobs to do, things to order, goals, line a day, baking from a recipe book once a week and recording result. 🥳🤩
Also don't worry about making the start of year spreads perfect, you can always add things later. Your first journal will learn you a lot about what you like and don't like within the journal. Enjoy the journey! :)

Make it so ugly the first time. Let it be sloppy. It takes away all the pressure to make it perfectly and beautifully. It’ll make it so much easier to keep it up. Also get some simple black pens (pilot G2 gel pens are my fave) and get the big pack of fine tip Crayola markers. It’s like $10 and it’s really all the colors you’ll need.

I love the "when did I last" spread. I always intend to clean out the fridge and wipe down cabinet doors more regularly and having something on hand to remind me to not let that slip would be awesome.
One must have spread that I use every year is a bill paying spread…it’s always right after the future log. It is so helpful for budgeting and to ensure that I don’t forget to pay any bills. I also have spreads for goals, books read, movies I’ve seen in the theater, new restaurants tried and adventures taken. Have a great December. 😊

I really like your idea of having one page to track something all year. For me, maybe exercise.
First and foremost, thank you so much for the content you make. I have tried so many times to do bullet journaling, and I feel like I always go overboard with it. I'm an artist, so I get lost in doing all the pretty and lack in the usefulness. After watching a bunch of your videos I feel pretty confident that I've found the right amount of useful and pretty. From what Ive seen most of the journals you have set up have been the A5 range. I would really love to see what you could do with the B6 size from Archer and Olive. I ordered that size for 2022, and I'm really excited to jump into it.

I have a couple video ideas: it would be super cool to see you build out some bullet journaling “kits” of supplies for different types of bullet journalers! Like one for the beginner, the practical/minimalist user, the super artsy fartsy user, etc.
I would also love to see some step by step tutorials for some really simple doodles! I have never been good at drawing, but I like the look of cute doodles, and I would love to see you walk us through how to do them! 😍

There are SO many amazing stamps for bullet journalling. Ink blot spot has great ones, as does studio L2e.
It would be extensive, and maybe difficult, but I would love to see a compilation of various weekly spread ideas/styles. I love changing up what I'm doing every week, and I'm always looking for new ideas!

I put the when did I last spread at the back of my journal and it’s one of my useful spreads. Love the set up.
Its fun to have seen rylee grow, when she first started to bujo and how she had everything handmade. And switching to archer and olives, Then she started customs bujos and growing a washi tape collection and introducing stamps into her work. Its been fun.
I will grow up like that someday too, InShaAllah. Right now too broke to have those luxuries.

My 22 Journal is a 160gsm square journal, thats new for me. I really enjoyed a fliped out cheat sheet, goal page, future log, weight tracker, present ideas, etc.

Hi, this has been really helpful as I’m looking for a reset on my bullet journal as In the past I’ve had more time to plan and draw, but life seems to have caught up with me, so I need it to be a lot simpler to work with, and this has helped, the set up has really changed my thought process and to remind me it’s my bujo, so it’s got to be what works for me, thank you

I like to do a "life" spread (a box for each remaining decade of my life). Then a next decade spread (a box for each year for the next ten years). Then my future log for the next year. Then books/movies/tv series/music spread. Then a page for my favourite quotes, a page for my favourite affirmations. And I'm gonna add a finances spread this year -- inspired by one of your previous journal flip throughs. Thank you!

@@sylviadonaghue9192 Yes! The life spread really highlighted to me how precious every moment is. There won't always be a next decade, next year, next month, next week, or next day.... I never truly got that until I did the life spread.

I was struggling with not wanting to use my bullet journal as I filled it with memories that turned sour. I’m really bad about self-blame and having to flip past these spread that I decorated and celebrated a whole memory about would make me feel bitter so I started to use my journal less… then came the guilt about having pages I set up and never used and blaming myself for not keeping track and wasting past time, stationary, the second half of the journal, etc. So after a few months away, I decided so go back and try a minimalist bullet journal set up. My journal now has been reduced to a future log, this month’s calendar, then traditional weekly planning pages and pages after for daily journaling. Only writing at the moment. I’m a maximalist with stickers and washi so this is a huge change for me but it’s something I haven’t tried yet, and I’m willing to see if it helps at all!

I've been bujo since August, so 2022 will be my first time starting a new year. I have a new AmandaRachLee journal. I did a future log, but at the bottom I added in regular bills - I'm forever forgetting auto pay items. I'm doing 22 to do in 2022, a book list, and a mind map. The mind map has 4 main topics. I also added a themes and doodle idea page. For my weekly, I'm going to try the dashboard idea I sa on your channel.

I've combined my future log in a quarterly style to add in projects and themes. I also didn't bother with a year at a glance as it's in the above mentioned. Could you give some thought to a rollacoaster theme one month as life is one!

Hey there - this is a great set up! I love how you make things accessible to all. Do you ever considering designing bullet journal spreads that focus on social justice? I've recently started thinking along these lines (as my channel name probably suggests!) and would love to swap ideas and learn what others are thinking in this realm.
From where did you buy the diary...it's really awesome..can tell from where did you brought that diary
one thing I never have used is a key. never could understand why anyone would need one. after getting into journaling I first starting adding in all these pages that people were showing and finally sat down and decided what was important to me. title and quote page, a blood pressure page, birthdays, calendar for te month, and a reflection page. thats it. those are what were important too me and what I used the most. I find that I do not need nearly as many jourals this way either. If you look back and find that you are not using pages why put them in your journal. dosen't make any sense.

Fellow curly girl? My routine is super minimal… no products, just some castor oil once it’s completely dry! I do use a den man brush to style the top layer of my hair for more definition ☺️

I use a bullet journal that I bought at hobby lobby for under $10 & it seems pretty good so far. of course It's my first bullet journal, but nonetheless. I wanted to ask if an Archer & Olive is actually worth getting? I mean literally everyone I watch on TH-cam that journals, has an A&O! Oh and a little side note; I use a gellyroll white gel pen and it never seems to show up nearly as much as yours does!! SO annoying! And I dont know if its because of the paper, or markers..? But I think I remember you mentioning the paper having a lot to do with it
I think the Archer and Olive journals are worth it for me mainly because I share my journal online, so it’s really nice to have stark white pages that don’t allow any pens or markers to soak through! If I wasn’t sharing my journal online I would definitely still prefer Archer and Olive, but it wouldn’t be as necessary 😊
As for the gel pen, I’ve really enjoyed gellyroll pens in the past, so I think there’s a good chance it would be either the paper in your journal, or the marker that you’re using underneath causing the problem!

Hi 👋🇨🇦 yes! I posted a video a few months ago flipping through an academic journal that I designed on my iPad! The back of that journal includes some templates for scheduling, project planning, tracking study hours, etc. That would totally work in a physical journal 😊
