My instructor used to compare that forearm/elbow to getting hit with a bumper of a Cadillac. It helped me remember the technique. Great explanation of the technique
Dear Mr. Seabrook, In our school, we perform the takedown by striking the opposite shoulder joint, thus using much more hip torque to bring the opponent to the ground. Think of crashing wings for a mental image. What do you think of it? Thank you very much! Miguel Castro
Yes, Triggered Salute is related to Falling Falcon. Also noteworthy is that the takedown in Falling Falcon is pretty much identical to Sleeper, except that the former does it from the inside of the arm and the latter from the outside of the arm.
You are absolutely correct. As always, hopefully we do not have to go beyond 1-2 moves to end the fight. However, knowledge of what to do just in case is very important.
I think that is a fair statement Mark. The way I showed the technique was exactly Falling Falcon as written, but clearly one must decide when to stop when executing the technique for real, depending on how effective your early strikes are and the amount of damage you have caused on your opponent.

Hi Miguel. That is an interesting interpretation. Would you happen to have a video I could see to give thorough feedback?
Hey could you make a video on explaining height width and depth please
Hi Andrew. Absolutely! I have added it to my to-do list ;)
Thank you sir
My pleasure, Andrew.
Now you’ve got my attention 👏🏽
Hundreds more coming!
Would that be in the same family as triggered salute ?

It’s only as visouse as you choose it to be
