Experience The Magic Of Corvara: A Must-see Destination!

- Days 15/16 of our Summer motorhome tour takes us to Corvara in the Dolomites. After a 30 min spectacular drive across the Grödner Joch / Ju de Frara pass we arrive at Camping Colfosco Almi, it was busy in September so if you go get there fairly early to get a pitch.
Our first activity in Corvara is an e-bike ride around the ski area calling in at the mountain cafes/bars. Obviously being a ski area it is steep getting up there but once on the top the views were amazing. We found a nice flowing mountain biking trail to take us down to the bottom of the valley. There's a lot more of it than shown in the video but you can only show so much down hill biking before getting boring!

For our second day in Corvara we take 2 cable cars to the top of Pis Boe and hike back down. It was spectacular!

All that scenery is what makes me happiest, give me mountains and lakes anytime I don't need beaches and the sea (but wouldn't say no if it was offered to me!) Thanks for sharing this vlog, you must have gigabytes of footage to edit! You looked as though you enjoyed this last trip to NZ and the Far East very much, can't wait for the vids! Not sure whether you saw my message on instagram but I lost my mum a couple of weeks ago, only 3 months after my brother, sorry to tell you bad news. We hope you are ok❤️ yes we are with you on the mountains v beaches, we'd take a mountain anyday although those beaches in Thailand were pretty stunning. Having spent 10 weeks in Greece (and a few more to come) we have loved the relaxed pace of beach / van life .. but are really looking forward to getting back into the mountains .. not least to work off some of the Greek lbs that may have been added due to #beachlife :)
Once we finish here in Grece the mountains are calling so it's been really good to catch up with your travels ... we both love trail running and some of the routes I'm spotting have my heart skipping a beat ... given the hills perhaps it will do more than skip once we are on it :)
Can’t beat the Dolomites for mountains ,Stallone filmed cliffhanger there, your heats will be beating 2000-3000m is the norm there!! 😀 cheers…Andy&Michelle

@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures thank you. We’ve just been down that way, but a late dump of snow has meant lots of stuff not open yet. We wended our way to the Moselle where they had flooding. Should have gone to Scotland- the weathers been fab there. Hope you have enjoyed your more recent travels.
