My child was echolalic a lot.and i dis the same instead stopping that started sescribing the situation.and now she use those extact phrases i said but she knows how to apply them in right sotuations and depending on the situation she change some words. Ex:if i say I am going to take a shower ,and when ahe sees my mom going to take a shower she says ,granny is going to take a shower.. But still she does repaet its not 100% reduced.but its improved
