I needed an acetylene torch to get mine off - BRUTAL! You got lucky!

I had an 07 341. Great boat, but had identical rpm and speed. Those motors should hit 5200rpm wide open. I repitched to 19” and got just about 5000 rpm. Made a huge difference in efficiency. Good luck. Even though I own a different boat now, I still enjoy watching your videos.

That’s promising. I can’t wait to try it out this spring.

Roosters were a new addition to the Marina this summer. The owner liked the key west vibe they bring. Lol

Just one little constructive criticism leave the nut on the shaft so that you have 1/4 inch or more of a gap so everything will not fall off on your toes

Is that prop shaft still attached to the transmission? I would never hammer on the prop with it still attached to the gear box. Just me, but I thought that was the point of the puller.

Didn’t think of that but several have suggested the hammer taps are needed.

Good job. You got to leave a nut a few turns on there so they don't fall off!

Yeah I remembered that after getting the puller mounted. All good . I just wish I caught the release on video! Lol

Why would you use a pipe wrench on a nut? Don't ever do this, buy the correct tool for the job or don't do it.

Used what I have. The nut didn’t complain and it didn’t fall off in 1800 miles of travel and a cat 4 hurricane.
