    Thank you for this video. I'm about to complete my 50 HR service on my Branson 2505H and you told me pretty much everything I need to know!

    Bravo! Well done Sir! Thank You. You covered everything well and didn’t fill the video up with any senseless content. Much appreciated.

    very helpful, thank you. One thing overlooked though, the zerk on the front of the front axle. The pivot joint needs grease too. Everything else was education to me.

    Thanks. I’m a new tractor owner. You probably kept me from breaking things trying to figure out how to open the hood.

    I am now stopped at the 7:00 minute mark where you are cautioning about the low torque on the transmission filter and am staring at the lock nut not being tight against the clevis. Without it being tightened against the clevis the rod is free to turn and get out of adjustment. Thanks for this video as I am about to buy a RK24 with ~47 hours on it and will be doing the 50 hour service very soon.

      Good catch. I had those loose prior to the service adjusting it a bit and hadn't tightened them back up just yet.

      Thank you very much for catching that. I double checked the model numbers that were in the recall and these seem to be unaffected. I may go ahead and switch them out anyway.

    I saw another guy did not have to remove hose for trans filter. He cut zip tie and removed one end of throttle shock. He didn't remove the wheel ether. BTW do you know size for oil filter socket and PN of trans filter? Thanks!

    About the hyd system oil filter being hard to access, I wonder if an oil filter wrench that attaches to the end of the filters with contracting fingers and turned with a 3/8" ratchet would make removing it easier? It is difficult to see if it would work from the pictures.

      That may work with the smaller 3/8 size once it is broken loose. Everyone I have talked to has complained about how tight those are on there when you do the initial service. I have a filter wrench like you are talking about but it is for big equipment and I couldn't get it in there. The 3/8 size may work though.

      There is a lever in the front near the bottom of the push bar. You push that lever.

    Great video. I recently purchased the rk24. I am pleased by the amount of instructional videos here on TH-cam. Just curious, have you priced having the services performed by Rural King? Just curious.

      Hi. Thank you for your comment! I have not priced having them do the work. I have always just picked up things needed and did maintenance myself for everything I have. I will try to remember and ask next time I am up at the store though.

    In the video, you mentioned that there are 2 drain plugs for the hydraulic fluid, but you only show draining one side. Can you drain it all from 1 side or do you need to do both? If both, is there about 1/2 the fluid on one side (e.g. 2ish gallons) and half on the other? Thanks for posting.

    Was the fuel filter replaced as well?

    • @ruralkingtractornation8815
      @ruralkingtractornation8815  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. Not this go around. That will be in an upcoming one. It isn't scheduled on paper to be replaced until the 500 hr mark I believe but I can't let one go that long before replacement.

    Even south Korean engineers can't get oil filter location right. I'm leaning towards buying the rk 24 just a little nervous about it. I'm seeing people have issues with warranty service and getting parts.

    • @ruralkingtractornation8815
      @ruralkingtractornation8815  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have seen some having the same thing. It has not been an issue that I have had though. My local Rural King always has what I need in stock. Sometimes I have to purchase it directly from the service people as some items are not on their stor shelf but I have always been able to get what I needed.
      I went with the RK basically because their warranty is longer than any other brand.
