@@lifeinsandiego Best memories of my life,! Being on the beach ànd going to the one room school house - the last of it's kind! 1947! Swimming in the local logoon! A painting by Whistler is the perfect depiction of the one room school house!!
Awesome video......Oceanside Native, born and raised so I love all the pros & cons that you explained to your viewers. Best place to live at in San Diego. Oceanside has the BEST diverse, most authentic blended population.
Moved here six months ago. Love it! We ended up a bit inland, near the Mission. Doesn't have the amenities of downtown, but still very accessible to it (even by bike) and you don't get as much marine layer. Also, Guajome Park is a great attraction for outdoor activities.
Oside or No Side since ‘92 and have no plans of going anywhere. Def have changed a lot, no more small beach town vibe in downtown, but mostly good change for sure
Yep, small town vibes have slowed. Especially when the new hotels popped up near the pier. O’side is still one of my favs and don’t see myself leaving anytime soon. What’s your favorite part about O’side?
I just bought an investment property here in Oceanside off of Jefferson and I live off of Mission about 15 min walk to the beach. Love it! It's getting cleaned up really fast. And all those organic or vegan whatever shops from Encinitas are popping here (for good or bad, I don't know). I love surprising people when they think Oceanside is a dump and then they want to come back again.
I sold my home in Oceanside, $800,000. The mornings are really cold, so is the ocean temperature. Going out for food is pricey and you'll drive a distance for all your needs. The Marines are not an issue at all. I was proud to live near the base in North Valley 6 miles to the harbor. Oh, not much work in the area and driving to Irvine everyday for my job was a a chore both with gas and drive time depending when you get off work. It's a beautiful place but not a convenient place. Lived there for years.

What happened to Camp Pendleton?? Is San Anofry still on the màp??
@@robertchilders8698 Camp Pendleton is still thriving! Not much going on in San Onofre besides some beach camping.

Do you censor the chat so people don't find out that Oceanside is a drug town?
@@krikeydial3430 you're the one smoking, bro. Don't project on the rest of the town.
The last 10 years we have vacation there, we love it, one day would love to live there.
Thanks for watching!

Hung out there alot when visiting daughter. Love it! I'm a southern Cal native but live in NM now and I sure do miss the homeland and want to return.
Oceanside to long beach is 80miles
John Wayne Airport is 50miles from oceanside
And the 0 miles to the next junkie.

Never really seen that anywhere in San Diego. Maybe a small cafe…which restaurant?

Aren't people considering the rising ocean levels before investing here?
Haven’t heard it come up much unless you are buying directly on the water or on a bluff near the water!
Too crowded
I need to rent a house do you know of any?
Can I come 😂?
I want to live near to ocean. Where to find spare 400 thousand bucks)))
I’ve got an area that’s about 15 minutes from the beach and you can find a condo for about that price. Shoot me a text 760.685.7956
