@@lindasson great question. It should work . A way to know is if you connect that device and shows up in the midi panel in settings in Serato studio. If it shows there than more than likely it’s mappable
Great Informative video. My question is after you've mapped out your effects can you play your track and do live automations and have those automations recorded to the track? If so how? Thanks again Gonz!
@@bahalospanty right now you can do it in the scene but not yet in the master on the song view. I’m waiting for that so I can do live automations to the master tracks and have that saved to that as my “live project”
@@DvRadio416 yes that would be cool. I was trying to create a mock up of having a scratch track where I could see jog wheel of my controller and to scratch or manipulate audio like I would in the dj program.
PLEASE ask Serato to include color selections for the sample deck chops! It can’t be that hard to add. N it would visually make my life, n I’m sure many other’s, much easier to see where the different chops are at all times instead of having 10 or more be red lol
Do you know how I can midi map velocity sensitive capable pads so that they are velocity sensitive after being mapped? When I custom map the pads on the MPD232 they only work on full level regardless of whether the full-level button is pressed or not.
@@djgonz123 I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly but I first click on the midi button on the top of the Serato screen, I then click on a pad on the screen that I want and then hit the pad on the MPD232 that I want it to correspond to. Before I map the pad it triggers whatever sound it is set to with velocity sensitivity but after I map it to my liking it just functions on full level regardless of whether the full-level button is on or not.
@@shawnthras I was able to get it to work. It’s not perfect . For one you can map but you won’t get a light up visual. If you want the ability to see everything lit up you would need to use a 3rd party software called Shove that will let you use the push in a different daw
Hi I'm trying to map my Arturia Drumbrute to Serato but for some reason I cannot map my knobs and faders...if there someone that can offer me help with this problem...I would gladly appreciate it.

Serato needs to map to something like the Denon LC 6000 and have it work like a deck jog wheel and all !

Yeah, I am having the same issue. Push 2 doesn't work with Serato midi mapping.
