Hi! I qualify for that and have over a year but am just about to go for 2 months on a holiday trip to overseas and return to the same employer. Would I be able to still apply when returned after a 2 month break overseas and back to Australia with same employer?

Actually, you get asked about your salary over the last 12 months and you need to submit your payslips. I'd say is probably better to wait until your last 12 month payslips add up to 70k
