- The NEW Reaper BUFFS and SKIN are INSANE
This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
Season 11 has ARRIVED and the Reaper guy has also been BUFFED. Yep he has FINALLY been buffed. His spread has been decreased (which is all I asked for) AND they also buffed his tp so you can get to places much quicker now. I can definitely see the new changes and reaper feels much better and healthy BUT today I have just been going against pharah and junkrats which sucks :/
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 2300 hours and 1000 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.

I like the new wraith change. You can even wraith when you spin. I wish they make it a thing
Yeah it would be fine if this was the revamp tbh. I would also add some little buffs
maybe reduce cooldown couple of seconds on finale blows. that would be cool
The TP change is so nice since my slow ass reaction time never can teleport back to ledge when I get booped off. Now I can recover :D (so far happy with this patch so far with reaper guy, but hope he gets more buffs)
People underestimate the tp change so much. The timing everyone has for when reaper comes out of tp are way too late now so you actually dont get beamed right out of a tp much anymore at least for now + running away from a gunfight with the new tp speed is actually pretty feasible instead of the previous animation locking you in for 3 years and getting domed.
Reaper guns should be reloaded after shadow step and ult should be able to get canceled. Easy quality of life changes can be made still.

These buffs are pretty damn good, feels so much more consistent to me now, and that faster teleport just feels better
the skin is cool,only issue is the guns are mad chunky
I love Reaper now more than ever. The TP is perfect for me because I use it all the time, both bad and good situations. One thing I love to do is to place myself in bad positions, and then TP away to bait the enemy into diving that bad position. It works so well with the fast TP.
The spread changes are also a great quality of life change
I feel so satisfied watching your reaper gameplay that i also wanna try him even if he is the lowest in the tier lists right now

Tp change is underrated saved my life so many times already
This weapon spread buff also buffed lifesteal because more of your shots hit and give you more lifesteal
Ngl after playing the experimental reaper on arcade, and going back to current reaper, his wraith just feels so sluggish and slow and now i just cant get used to it, they really should use that reaper as replacement for current one.

Dude reaper feels so good right now without the feeling that they over buffed him, I think he’s perfect other than spin at the moment and is viable
Not gonna lie I dig the bug skin I honestly saw him as a K.R Genm type just my opinion

I think the Sojourn change is just as much a buff to Reaper as anything else. Blue Light is way less of a threat now. Don't like that Widow is creeping her ass back up to being in every game though, thats gonna make fun characters a lot more difficult to use.
Thoughts on the new map? It seems like it was made to be a hitscans wet dream, but the reeba value is still insane

@@joshlong5754 repah and sojourn are kamen rider skins, the rest are power rangers (sentai), solider in the old battle pass is a kamen rider skin as well

Compared to the past, it's better, but not enough.
If they just let you cancel ult with wraith i would say that reaper would be in a good place

Skin isn't very good
Most of the skins this season are trash. Especially on the battle pass... The only battle pass skin that's nice is the Mauga one
Hog's shop skin and Lifeweaver/Kiriko's lifeguard skins are nice but jesus christ Kiri has so many skins already 😅 give other chars skins Blizzard
I knew it would be spread change. Does next to nothing to help engage squishies at the cost of stricter aim penalties. Wild that two meta heroes (Cass and Sojourn) got better buffs than the struggling heroes.
Does next to nothing? No mention of the wraith buff? He’s much better now and if you can’t engage squishy’s more effectively with the spread reduction, then that’s a skill issue
@Wildkoala1 Well, for one, it wasn't a Wraith buff. It was a Shadow step buff, and it still results in you standing still for 2.7 seconds instead of 3 (helping out only in the most niche scenarios).
He's also only marginally better with the spread buff, adding a meter or 2 of efficiency while also decreasing the overall consistency of connecting shots.
None of these changes address his actual issues.
