I surfed at South Beach 30 years. On a really huge groundswell you could see a reflection of the waves in the sky.Coming over Fifth street bridge. A mile off Government Cut waves were 20ft.Saw a huge luxuryship turn around. Temp was 40 wind nw 25. A bit chilly😋
Are charters allowed during Covid- 19 in Florida? in NJ where i boat there are no charters allowed and I can only take my boat with people I am self isolating with.

When you look out on the horizon and see those saw teeth where the water meets the sky. Its 8'-10' at least. Not a good day for any small vessel under 50'. But fools will be fools.

Sometimes you really seem to know what you're talking about, others I wonder if you've ever actually been in a boat. "Haulover is not the place today", well, the current is running in the same direction as the waves, so you don't have standing waves forming in the inlet. The current is actually increasing the wave length as it speeds up in the narrows/shallows, and consequently decreasing the wave height and the ratio between height and length. Ie., smoother. Once the boats are out of the tidal currents the waves are their normal form. the opposite is true of most of your good videos, where the waves are going against the tide, get slowed down, steeper, taller and rougher. So "today" is the tide cycle, don't know what kind of period you have there, where I am the tidal cycle has a six hour ten minute period from high to low and vice versa.twelve hour twenty minute high to high. Liiike, don't you ever notice the boats are "fighting the current" in opposite directions at different times?
Sound kinda weird like your from tsnnesie or Kentucky and someone's tightening your "______" up in bunch..straining your voice. And the stressfull pace of your talking ...you know what ,,what's behind you. ..hmmm.. big and scary ha!!.

I have to respectfully disagree. Looks like those last two handled Haulover very well, but it was the ocean that said "Commme to meeee my prrrretty.".
