You are right man, i have both consoles, both games as are good enough, sure if you want some real simulation you can play GT5, or if you want some pure American Motor Racing spirit, you can play Forza Motorsport 7.
It is a great intro and probably the best on paper, but the GT1-EU and GT4-JP intros are still both superior in terms of pure excitement because of how great the actual games were behind it - both in very different ways though (one raw simplicity of the race track thrill and the other a glorious orchestra prelude). GT3 (EU) intro was awesome as well, because of Feeder - Just A Day. But in terms of wholesomeness and overall quality, this GT5 Spec 2.0 definitely holds the crown and the editing is flawless too. What a shame that the actual gameplay was so depressingly bad, it made me sell my PS3 and go back to GT4 with a wheel, not even considering GT6 until later on when I bought another used PS3 to play Blurays.

Those are Downloadable Content cars. They are race car versions of the R32 and R33 called R32 TC (Touring Car), R33 TC which are 4WD unlike most other GTR race cars in game. The pack comes with an R34 TC, R35 TC and some other cars.
Indeed bro, i'm GT fan and i've played all racing games, and pisses me off the fanboys who just has played 2 or 3 racing games and just to wreck the car or make nonsense on the track, a fact is i have learnt to drive well with GT, and i'm absolutelly happy with it.

Alright... I must say I have found intro on par with Urban Fragment (Ridge Racer R4). It gave this.... urban feels and also some other feels that I can't even define. My opinion solely...
Gran Turismo vs Forza Gran Turismo - epic opennings - 500+ cars each game - epic soundtrack - tuner brands - more locations - rally cars + tracks Forza - not so good opennings - 50+ cars each game, no more than 500 - some games dont even have a soundtrack while racing - no rally - not as much locations - rally car with no rally track in forza 4 I think we know which is better.
CGI Pierce Brosnan I agree on those points, but GT still has the bigger car/location/variety of cars and tracks. I have to agree tough that Forza does seem a bit more realistic than GT, but eh, I guess it's just that I grew up with GT and have grown pretty attached to it, something Forza just can't seem to do. Either way, now that Project Cars is out thing will get a lot more interesting...

the original intro for GT5 is much better in my opinion. the first piano piece suits it more
