I own this and it’s really useful. I’ve found sounds often need downward compression in one part of the spectrum and some upward compression in another part to make a sound sit well in the mix. This does that with a GUI that is clear and provides all the info you need. Congratulations on great work!
This is the BEST explanation of this style of compressor I have seen! I have tweaked OTT to sound how I want but never really had it explained to me. This was very well done & even tho I knew it all having such a clear & concise explanation I feel smarter & I will make better use of this style on compressor from now on

Wow. You guys just broke my head. Having dominated every area of attack so far (distortion, eq, delay) I didn't even see the coming for "dynamics". Industries 1st ott replacement that is easier , better , and seems way more creative too. Can't wait to try it!!! Gonna be some sad faces on the competitors today...lol 🤭 Another breakthrough plugin from the new masters of the audio renaissance. "Tools" that just make the creative (and technical) processes flow like they should, I've never needed to stop and read a manual. The real key tho? They are just making the world sound better! Love you guys!!!
I LOVE your tools. ...Though I wish that audio manufacturers & reviewers would gain stage their vocals with their music/audio samples so that their examples don't blow up our speakers just after hearing them speak at a normal level.

Sounds nice. It would have been nice to hear it in action on some other music, bus and masters. These few loops didn't show enough. Also was expecting an OTT comparison since it was selected in the Browser. But i'll try the Demo for now and do some testing myself!
Please do! I did a comparison to the OTT but the video was already quite long and it seemed silly to just to throw shade on OTT 😅 - We have a basic OTT preset in the app which matches the classic configuration

@@zeepster I didn't try nulling, probably not because it's not any sort of emulation, but it's definitely capable to create the classic OTT sound + much more
I would respectfully say the largest difference is the workflow, I'm also not sure if Pro-MB is dual compression per band -- Pro-MB is an amazing product though, we love fabfilter and use their stuff as well!
would be great if the scaling will make way more sense, who is really normaly will expand or compress more than 9db?? the graphic should be able to let you see with more precision (zoomin) +/- 6db ...hopefully they can implement a zoom in scaling feature...ven in this example are proving this... also can you select mid/side per band/ not global? ...looks good for the price but these 2 feauture will set this apart and closer to Fabfilter MB
Looks really cool! Just to clarify, can anyone who has tried this plug-in answer whether it is possible to adjust the attack and release band by band? Or is it the only way you can control those parameters is to either adjust every band at once, tempered by the adaptive time feature? Thanks!
@@mattiasboden2329 thanks! part of me wishes there were band by band adsr controls, but I think its probably a good call for making this plugin quick and easy to use (its already got more control than ott this way)
Hi! The crossovers in Fuse Compressor are performed by a series of zero latency IIR filters, we prefer these filters because they're low CPU and respond well to modulation. All Pass filters are applied to the dry signal for perfect spectrum reconstruction with no notches when using dry / wet. -- Apologies it was omitted from the video it was not intentionally left out! -- There is phase rotation around the crossovers but nothing that will be audible, you could likely see it using certain monitoring tools.
Trying to get rid of this air sound coming from this plugin..Am I doing something wrong? (it goes away when turn up the release and lessen the upward threshold)

I don't not need a new compressor. Everything else you do is🔥too (I started with Rift and haven't looked back).

Shouldn't the upwards compassion ratio be noted as 0,25 : 1 as for every 1 dB below the threshold 4 dB will be put out?

attack and release seems to be global, not band by band.

It's the upward compression ratios -- try turning the upward ratio to 0, when active it's turning up the noise floor found in the sound
