    Either im confused or he left something out when the guy said pro body builders can maintain the muscle and eat less, is it because their metabolism slowed down, genetics, or steroids, and if any choice, was it only because of muscle building?

    Does high metabolism help to gain or lose muscle?? Or is a slow metabolism best way to build muscle since I have a high metabolism

      Muscle content and diet change metabolism. More muscle, uses more calories to “sustain itself”

    I'm finally back up to myb200lb goal. 13% bf .. now I'm trying to figure out how to get under 10% bf and stay 200lbs

      I ended up just dropping weight all together to get leaner! Though I wanted to be 200lbs with a 6 pack my frame isn’t really meant to be that size! My joints hurt more and I had to eat so much food just to maintain that weight! I ended up dropping down to the 180s and felt way better all around and kept damn near all my strength!

      Depends. I've trained clients who were obese and ate VERY LITTLE. They needed to eat more to build muscle which in tern speed up their metabolism. I could choose to make someone in that position just do a crap ton of cardio and they would probably drop 15-20 pounds pretty fast but their metabolism would end up slowing down more and their body fat percentage would go up. They would be better off eating more throughout the day, focus on resistance training and building muscle. Sure the immediate weight loss wouldn't be as successful but they would build a faster metabolism and be better off in the long run.

    MY BROTHER IS STILL FAT.... JUST BECAUSE HE HAS MUSCLE
    .......HE 8S STILL FAT WITH BEER BELLY.. & he doesn't even drink alcohol
    ...its because he EATS at 3am, BIG PLATES.. ITS DISGUSTING
    who eats at 3am in the morning!??? He doesn't work.....

    You must eat right if you want to build muscle. That's why I got myself the personalized Agoge diet and have amazing results.
