After having tried one in real life, I must admit that they are awesome flutes that are well engineered and easy to produce a sound on. Their ergonomic features are also great. Unfortunately, their aesthetics are atrocious relative to their price level. Even if it sounds like a solid gold, $100K instrument, I would never perform with it because it looks like it was sold at a dollar store.
Actually really impressed with the latest models and their intonation and clarity. The earlier models sound like they had pad sticking issues and you could hear the key clicks on the instruments. These sound very good for the price.

What material are the pads?
Not sure of the precise material, but they are a synthetic.
low tone are too poor
