Bro thank you for spinning the head of the machine subbed for that! Just bought a used exo unstoppable 3.2 and the ring spins so you hold the ring when twisting the batteries in but when the head on my machine spun when I was twisting the a battery out I was concerned seems like it’s chill tho!
Best exo review i have seen so far :) Have you done bold 14rl-14rs lines with the exo 4.0? Will it work with bold lines or do you recomend someother pen for that?
Sorry for the late response!!! I use this for EVERYTHING!!!! I have the PowerBolt plus and I’ve used 14rl 14rs and 39curved mag and it runs is sooo easy!!!
So i guess youre paying 100 more for the RCA connector and the innovative grip, i think thats not a big deal as its more comfortable than the flux and the RCA module gives more advantage if in an extreme case you run out of bateries
Depends on the artist honestly but usually the smaller are better for smooth black and grey. But you can do black and grey with all three of the strokes. But I’d use the 3.5 or 2.5 for smoother greys
@Adam M Tattooing - Is the performance and results exactly like the 4mm stroke Flux? So if I get the EXO in 4mm stroke it will be good for linework and color? Does it produce a very bright color saturation? Btw going to run it via RCA...
@@TheBeardedTattooer nice does it line better than the Spektra Xion? That machine is bad for lines. With the Exo can you line better and faster one pass? What was the biggest round liner u used?
@@sendlocation8476 yes it lines better than the xion. Since it’s a direct drive it hits harder. Yes it lines amazing for a rotary and especially for a pen machine!
The exo 4.0 stroke is the same as the flux just a little better, but the flux don’t have any other strokes. The exo has 2.5 3.2 and 4.0 so the exo is better.
He did say he got the 4.0 exo so I wouldn't be surprised if they just recased 4.0 motors they already had laying around for the Flux for the exo 4.0 but definitely if you're going from the Flux to the exo it wouldn't make sense to get a 4.0 again
@@TheBeardedTattooer yea you sure about that cause i was doing my digging and searching nd found on the fk site its not compatible with the lighting bolt battery.😓 that sucks
You can now buy exo grips for flux’s and also the ‘s’ grip from the PMU variation, though, it needs to get to fu….along with the permanent makeup industry
What is most ridiculous for me with this new machines is that fixed stroke…I have edge x witch is older machine but double price cheaper and can switch stroke to 4,2..
I agree the whole fixed stroke is another way for them to make more money! But I’m used to longer strokes with my machines so I do everything w this pen

I have the 4.0 and the 3.2 they both are amazing
i do predominantly new-school style work (variable line weights, saturated color) so would you recommend me the 4.0 or the 3.2?
@@Slacked2196 3.2 shite at lining
@@Slacked2196 3.2 is best for shading and lines nicely but line weight and speed play factors
@@Slacked2196 nice to meet you btw
What do you run on the exo for lining and shading
Good review 👍
I wanna try the 2.5

@Adam M Tattooing does the rca model come with rca cable in the box?
No
No shit! I just want the Exo grip!
Exactly…..
This is better our sheyeene sol nova an limited?
@Adam
Do you find the EXO to be loud ? What volt do you normally run
No it’s not as quiet as my bishop v6 but it’s not loud
What stroke is better for straight black and grey work?

Yes it’s powerful it lines and saturated extremely well! You will not be disappointed.

No other 4mm stroke machine saturates and gives u color like the flux so im assuming this does the same
Even without the E give it’s perfect for everything including black and grey.
Hi may i ask if witch is better flux or exo?
The exo 4.0 stroke is the same as the flux just a little better, but the flux don’t have any other strokes. The exo has 2.5 3.2 and 4.0 so the exo is better.
So the thin grip for the Xion is compatible with this machine right?
No the flux grip is
@@DeweySmithTattoos2 if you have this rca adapter that comes with the exo yes. They’re interchangeable between the flux and exo.
Since it’s the same battery as the flux, do you think the 2.5 stroke length is really a 2.5 stroke length?
Yes that’s the difference is they have the 3.2 and 2.5 stokes and the grip and the rca

Unless you want a bigger grip for the flux….. which they don’t do /facepalm
Did you just pass a tattoo needle thru your fingers?
Does a lighting bolt battery pack fit it?
Yes

Where can you get the exo grip for the flux? Or are you talking about the Ergo foam grips? 🤔

3.2 exo for me..i didnt go back to the fk flux, although i love my flux too
3.2exo can work fine line?
Fk irons.....puke.....but whatever....keep em comen bro love the videos!
E give sucked, it just slows the motor
I get it bru . Its not a packer . Just spended my money on shitty fk machiene.
No you only get give with hover power supply
No, you get it with the hover the lightning bolt and the powerbolt. You just need the app. Look it up
U don't even need the app anymore. Just a powerbolt 2
Waste of money 💰
I love mine!
