Love the last few seconds of Feldberg's Voodoo bag of 5000 discs being lugged down the hill by his caddy! whacha got in there? 24 Eagles, 13 Boss's, 19 Aviars...
I met ken around 20 years ago. Super cool dude. He signed some plastic for me and I got to hang out with him for a few minutes it was one of the coolest things in my life
@Sahtrump - maybe in your neck of the woods there are only par 3 holes. Real courses for Pro play all have par 4 and 5 holes on them. Par 6 also exists in the PDGA guidelines.

the game has evolved... an am2 by todays' standards would be on final card for Worlds ten to fifteen years ago... McBeast winning four, Wysocki 2 - amazing given 50 players they both beat would have won, before sport blew up 6 to 9 years ago, by dozens of strokes
@saemj Its a disc golf term. Similar to a "Cubby Ace" which is named for the youtube video maker that throws one after another until he gets it. Fairway ace is infact a term used to describe the situation in this video.
The 3 dislikes this video received were numerous accounts that Kenny made in disgust that the disc didn't shatter after being thrown beyond a discs maxim kinetic potential, which is incomprehensible to the petroleum industry as a whole
i stood beside him a few times today at the final rounds of the worlds lol. Didn't know who he was until i took a second look. Just like in the videos!
Comment for "BigLeague5" The reason he is running towards the basket is to get the disc out in a timely manner.. Was not a celebratory thing. you must get your disc out before the next shot from a competitor can take place... If you watch a lot of tournaments you will see this is the norm..
The hole is over 650ft. This is his upshot after the drive. The only silly thing about this is GG and Schusterick have reached the green from the teepad....
@puckdevil8 That's why they called it a "fairway ace". I don't like the term, though. They should just call it a "long eagle" or something, because it isn't an ace.
Now I could be wrong but I believe this hole was named "Genius", or "The Genius Hole" just because it was pure "Genius" having the imagination to think of that whole.... of course it is Oregon and it could have been slightly induced thinking too!
@Culture261 ....exactly. There's no such thing as a "fairway ace". It's merely an eagle from the fairway (albeit a nice one). Point being, an ace is a hole in one from the tee box. Speaking of which if one hits an "ace" from the tee on a par four.....it's what?....yes....a double eagle. And then there's the goal in two shots from a par five.....alos a double eagle.....same thing only different. Okay class....now get back to warming your arms up.
ive never heard of anyone calling anything besides the first throw an ace. "fairway ace" "jump putt ace", thats just ridiculous, especially the jump putt one. it has the word PUTT in it. the only kind of ace is off the tee pad, everything else is just a really good shot
A 200 foot open downhill hole ain't a par 4. He is barely throwing too. A great shot none the less. But stretching the truth doesn't help the sport much.
Eagle had 20ft yesterday on this hole for eagle. Disc golf has progressed
Shut up
Love the last few seconds of Feldberg's Voodoo bag of 5000 discs being lugged down the hill by his caddy! whacha got in there? 24 Eagles, 13 Boss's, 19 Aviars...
By far the best shot I've seen.
"One time" he says... And then you hear the chains and the witnesses!!! Love that sound..
That wasnt Climo that said "one time" Climo has a very deep voice
Strong, the force is with this one...

What did you throw there Ken? It was a me pro roc.
Yes it had the stability of a kc pro roc! What a shot!
Wow... Dude. "Fairway" Ace. The Drive Was Done. And the Upshot Was to Come. he Nailed The Upshot.
Right. That's the definition of a fairway ace. Welcome to disc golf.
I think this hole is 180 meter or something and paul mcbeth had a 15 meter putt for eagle ^^ i am not sure if this is the same hole but i guess so !

The G.O.A.T.
great shot man!! any of christian?
brilliant toss

RIP Carl Cubbidge aka Cubby
@ohsofly101 Fairway ace is making a really long shot with a disc on a throw other than your first. So the title is accurate.
smart
@viper34j2004 Yes...."albatross" is the same thing as a "double eagle" a slang term mostly used in the UK. ; )
@hyzercreek thats a whole lot of help since i dont see a single golf ball in this video.
@jspaulding91
Sure. But how many 1,000 foot holes do you come across?
lots
@ShawnBoucke the hell do you need that many discs for?
@ShawnBoucke the hell do you need that many discs for
Well many people ask you to clear out the basket in major tournaments and when you hit a shot that nicely you would be pretty excited too.
That was some serious curve!
anyone know what kind of disc? looked stable...a roc i'm guessing...but looks like a aviar...best part is having to run and get it outta the basket.
Roc
yea his drive went about 375-400 thru about a 50' fairway from a 50' high elevated tee pad
The OG RAPTOR
O.M.G
That is a KC Pro Aviar, not a ROC.
Roc?
The 3 dislikes this video received were numerous accounts that Kenny made in disgust that the disc didn't shatter after being thrown beyond a discs maxim kinetic potential, which is incomprehensible to the petroleum industry as a whole
lol i dont know why but your comment made me piss myself laughing
i stood beside him a few times today at the final rounds of the worlds lol. Didn't know who he was until i took a second look. Just like in the videos!
how slick was that throw!?!
Disc golf, A game where kids can be a kid.
When you hit a shot like that, you'll be playing for years.........
Big whoop, that's an easy shot to any of the pros...Climo just makes it look easy.
daymn son
it says fairway ace, and its his second shot
The shot was awesome, but give it up for the video quality. Fuuuuuck yeah!
im loving the swooshi pants
Only because...he's Ken Climo lol Fantastic shot.
especially if you have on genuine A.C. Slater pants.

How is this a par four??
Because it's his second shot idiot
@GahDub A "double eagle"? Are you sure it isn't an albatross? Thats what it is in ball golf.
how is that a par 4?
Because you can't throw 650 feet. I can't either so don't feel bad.
this is about as long as my only ace ever lol
The hole is over 650ft. This is his upshot after the drive. The only silly thing about this is GG and Schusterick have reached the green from the teepad....

that shot was ssswwwweeeeeeeeet.
Or it was the other 3 people on his card during the tournament.
@colinprevost9 it's called a caddy -- you get one when you're that good.
@freddie719 Actually, it was an eagle. He just 2'd a par 4.
No, he made a fairway ace to 2 the par 5
A very impressive shot nonetheless.
Now I could be wrong but I believe this hole was named "Genius", or "The Genius Hole" just because it was pure "Genius" having the imagination to think of that whole.... of course it is Oregon and it could have been slightly induced thinking too!
I thought all disc golf holes were par 3 no matter what.
My bad on the comment. I didn't realize that was his SECOND shot. Sorry about that!
close to hitting an iron leaf there champ
Par 4?
That's a par 3, on any courses I've played on... Not to take away from the shot.
It's because he said "one time."
Somebody else said one time, Ken has a difference voice
oh
@HAEM0RRHAGE I know dude, I had to rewind the clip so I could see it haha
60 meter hole with a par of 4? Sounds a bit silly now doesnt it
@thachronking ummmmm not really. Just being "American correct". ;P
Its disc golf courtesy to retrieve your disc form the basket before the next player throws. As for the celebrating I cant blame him.
Yeah especially when it's windy

@GahDub K COACH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LoL they have disc caddys
this is mosy definitely not a par 4...
Right, because everybody can reach a 650 foot hole
@Ericxwink a ace is a hole in one. in ONE. This was not a ace.
idiot
I hate these ads. I'm trying to watch Climo, not learn how to drive a golf ball.
swish!
OMG that's never been done before!! And I LOVE the guy behind him with 842 discs....gimme a break.
ive never heard of anyone calling anything besides the first throw an ace. "fairway ace" "jump putt ace", thats just ridiculous, especially the jump putt one. it has the word PUTT in it. the only kind of ace is off the tee pad, everything else is just a really good shot
Since nobody said anything about jump put ace, you need to shut up. It's a fairway ace.
those pants are hideous!!!
Runs like a fairy
that wasn't an ace... definitely a bird. buuuuut ok. seen this video along time ago.
what a goof. why does he sprint to the basket to get the disc? seems kind of pompous and lame.
Because it doesn't count until you retrieve it. The wind can blow it out.
no way this was an ace on a par 4......seriously.....
idiot
A 200 foot open downhill hole ain't a par 4. He is barely throwing too. A great shot none the less. But stretching the truth doesn't help the sport much.
Jesus are you stupid or what? His first shot was 450 feet
FAKE!!!!!!
There no such thing as a fairway ace.
"Ace"
A hole in ONE,
not two,
one.
"Fairway ace" a hole in one from the fairway. One.
insecure much?
There's no way that's a par 4. If it is, then there's more behind him and not an ace.
I don't think you know what a fairway ace is.
He sank a 2 on a par 4.
Did not even see the word fairway. Whoops
He always cheers for himself too much
.....? he put his hand up and ran to the basket like everyone. If thats cheering to much then I must be the biggest douchebag ever when I make a shot.
Justin is the douchebag not you
