BRILLIANT!!!!! Device was invented by 61-year-old Jenan Kazim from Hertfordshire
Dubbed the Kazbrella, it also avoids poking passers-by in the head
It closes and opens in reverse, helping trap the water on the inside
It is expected to go into production in a few months and will cost £45 ($75)

its a really good design, changing the originarl estructure and system of a classic umbrella and making it better, yes it is not made to change the world but think about it, it making better the classic version of something, making it more usefull in simple ways, for an average persone in a everyday use and everyday problems... that is a good usefull design. congrats

how can you revolutionise a system (the future of umbrellas) if you patent the way it works?
Next the water contained on the inside when placed in with the handle in the air would dip similar to a normal umbrella, how well does this really work?
    The good stuff....:
Now I personally like folding umbrellas if you could incorporate this into your design. never again would i have to worry about broken, inside out umbrellas, this should be your point to marketing.
Today for instance first bit of light rain, all day in uk, it was windy-ish and there were so many broken umbrellas around, normally right next to the high-rise buildings.
Make these telescopic (6 - 14 inches), use cheaper materials, the fact they are designed to go inside-out, every-one will buy them, you'll make millions, most people I know buy 2 one to leave at work one for home! Portability and rigidity with the added bonus you will have less dripping, until you find a location to open and dry them out. This would be a revolutionary.
Make it happen before China does, or your end up like me and my POV juggling staff that displays animations...
Quick now i'm waiting to buy one!

Heres the thing though. IMO the umbrella all together is useless. Rain always comes with wind, mostly, and therefore becomes very annoying to use in the wind, causing the excess force on the umbrella making you stagger while walking and fighting against the wind and rain. Just make a rain coat that you can throw on or even those baggy plastic overalls they have in disneyland.

Nothing new. This is already the way some mini umbrellas open. It's even better with that as pushing the button opens it fully or closes just the top. You'll only need to pull it back to shorten. Lastly, if you don't let it dry open, it will stink.

sorry this umbrella isn't anything special, it also isn't even the world's first inverted umbrella. I can get a more well developed umbrella that has already been manufactured in China. The Kazbrella I thought was suppose to be better, but I thought wrong. No one at this moment can make one as good as the Ambrellaok co. .

cool idea and product, but they shouldn't have exaggerated the closing of normal umbrellas in those mentioned situations and showed the people as complete retards. it looked like they were trying a bit too hard to advertise. The KAZbrella itself looks good though, as long as they price it similar to a what a normal umbrella would cost like.
