NORFORCE, the Northern Territory Special Reconnaissance Unit 80th Anniversary Commemoration

ADF personnel including Yolngu soldiers from Arnhem Squadron, NORFORCE (North-West Mobile Force) join together with Eastern Arnhem Land communities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the WWII era Northern Territory Special Reconnaissance Unit (NTSRU) and the 1942 makarrata, an ancient Yolgnu ceremony that united indigenous clans to create this Australian Army unit.
