The Stormtrooper Corp has it easy just fighting a bunch of rag-tag insurrectionists and upstart rebels.
Internet Zen Master stormtroopers may have had it easy unless you were stationed on Death Stars 1 or 2, a super star destroyer, in the Carida system, in the maw cluster, or any number of places where literally everyone hated you. At least the republic clones were wanted on some planets. Almost all stormtroopers were hated as garrison forces
GannerRhysode Well that tends to happen when you join the dictator's military despite your reason Unlike Stormtroopers Clones could actually fight, didn't always need a jedi leader to fight their battles, and oh the whole not abusing power thing helped
I'll tell you what the worst planet I've seen as a storm trooper is, Comiccon in the San Diego system. It was crowded, overpriced, smelled funny and filled with strange aliens (humanity first!) It was so full that my platoon and I were charging a rebel propaganda panel and we couldn't get through the game of thrones barrier. I end up having to settle with just buying a steampunk trinket.
Meme from the Internet system is way worse. Lots of crazy aliens and many of them are pretty hostile. And one of the countries there can defeat you easily because they have the high ground. Luckily i have been stationed on one of the more peaceful human populated places on that planet, it's quite nice there if there is no war.
Felucia should've been #1 just from the 501st journal "...month after month of flesh eating diseases and shrieking nocturnal predators..." not to mention the jungle felucians from force unleashed 1 some of which rode rancors.
Kashyyyk’s forest floor was known as “the shadowlands” Wookie’s were sent down there in exile. Darth Revan went down there twice in search of an ancient Rakatan star map.
Dathomir was claimed for the Empire by an officer named Zsinj, then commanding the Victory-class Star Destroyer Iron Fist. One year after the Battle of Yavin, an outbreak of the Blackwing Virus took place and a large area of land was quarantined, including an Undead Rancor. A group of spacers where eventually permitted entrance, and did several quest to keep people safe and defeat zombies, killing the Rancor mutant over time. Around 2 BBY Emperor Palpatine reestablished a penal colony for important political prisoners, while the Imperial garrison hunted the remaining Kwi to near-extinct
I think you underplayed the downing of that Star Destroyer. It took all of their efforts, including hundreds of droid fighters, a massive minefield and numerous months of planning and preparation, maybe even years including all of the connections they had to make. Furthermore, they had many personnel operating from their base in addition to the 10-20 field operatives.

As the first comment states, sandtroopers were used there and their armour had cooling systems to deal with the heat. Sure, it's not as interesting as some other planets but I'd rather be bored than to be teared apart by flesh eating viruses and rancors. I'd rather be stationed outside a cantina or riding around the desert on a dewback than stuck on umbara in the constant dark or on dathomir. Sean, the thing is, if an Ewok kills you, that's pretty bad. but if you kill an ewok, that's very good. Delicious, in fact. Also, the chance of you killing an ewok are greater than the chances of an ewok killing you, just look at the ballte of endor. There were far less stormtroopers than ewoks, but the stormtroopers were barely defeated, and only because some rebel scum managed to get their hands on an ATST.
If I was stationed on Mandalore I'd ask for a DLT-19 (laser machinegun rifle like sandtroopers would use), or I'd at least try to get myself assigned to be an anti-infantry turret gunner so I could defend myself better from Mandalorian air ambushes
But what if you've been unknowingly sleeping with the alien's daughter, and if they leave she goes too? Not speaking from experience because good troops don't sleep with the locals, just wanted to know the repercussions...for the Empire.

I think one of the worst would be Felucia. During the clone wars the republic army lost about 4 times as many clones to the enviroment as to droids. The separatists didn't fare much better and most of their droids ceased up due to corrosion, were overwhelmed by the difficult enviroment or were crushed by animals.
I would have put Felucia on here. Overall the stormtrooper Corp had it easy. They only had to deal with a few ragtag insurgents and the occasional smuggler. The Clonetroopers had it so, so much worse. Going toe to toe usually outnumbered by an army of ruthless and diverse literal killing machines. I’d fight 3 rebels before I dare stand anywhere near a B2. And that wasn’t even the tip of the iceberg in what monstrosities the separatists could pump out. Droidekas, Magnaguards, BX-series, Shadow droids, crab droids, aerial droids, not to mention the separatists could actually field tanks in large numbers unlike the rebellion. I doubt stormtroopers would fare well against the Confederacy had they engaged in combat.

I think the best planets to be stationed on during the empire like between 18BBY and 1BBY is Courscant, Naboo, Tattoine, Polis Masa at least before the empire attacked the rebels while the empire was looking for the death star plans, death star before its destruction (it may be the most boring assignment in the galaxy but, at least it will keep you from getting killed), a fleet over Mygetto, Kamino (before star killer was cloned and after the Kamino uprising), a fleet over Felucia, a fleet over Mustafar (after destroying the Droid army and Gizor Delso), fleet over Naboo (after destroying the queens army of jedi knights) and a fleet over Tattoine. I think having your own fleet like over Tattoine is perfect and has alot of positives. Pretty much i rather be on the death star during 11BBY til 1BBY at least its safe and pretty much gets you out of action for a while.
Do best planets for a stormtrooper, I've just graduated from the academy and I want to know what to look forward to when serving my great and beautiful empire
If I was a stormtrooper the 2 planets I would want to be stationed on is 1: forest planets of Endor, 2: kashyyyk. two heavily forest planets with lots of dangerous predators and other wildlife danger…… that would suit me great in order to transform myself into badass old guy Tarkin.
It's some comic or another I think. The imperial starship these soldiers were stationed on got infected by a zombie creating virus (possibly from the geonosians, or just that planet, I remember doing research on the subject after buying some action figure from the clone wars show series, and it was a geonosian infected with said virus), and slowly ate away at the forces, making the living slowly lock away sections of the ship as they would continue to be attacked by the dead soldiers, even after defeating a force of zombies, the same zombies that died, would just get back up, given the picture above. Now that I'm remembering more correctly, it was a virus that caused this, or a worm that got into the subjects brain, the soldiers would turn all grey or green, their eyes would roll back into their heads, and like I previously stated, once killed, (unless you kill the worm itself) theyll simply get back up.
"Stormtroopers are cheap mass produced soldiers" No they aren't. They are elite shock troopers, we just see them so much because the movies and shows take place on high priority planets
@@panzerkampfwagenviiimaus2187 no, I'm not. Clone Troopers were mass produced soldiers from Kaminaon cloning facilities, and they were elite. Stormtroopers were in fact elite soldiers, but we see them so much because all of the movies take place at high priority facilities/planets.
@@itambor The thing is that clones was traind from birth and was geneticly modifyd to kill. The reason why they later turnd down the cloning program is becouse it was to expensive. when you watch this video it's very close it may be fiction but is very close to reality the same thing and American armed forces are doing in the Middle East and the people are fighting US troops mingling with the people in the Middle East they doing the same thing that's why I got this movie from fishing limits real life
I think the best planets to be stationed on during the empire like between 18BBY and 1BBY is Courscant, Naboo, Tattoine, Polis Masa at least before the empire attacked the rebels while the empire was looking for the death star plans, death star before its destruction (it may be the most boring assignment in the galaxy but, at least it will keep you from getting killed), a fleet over Mygetto, Kamino (before star killer was cloned and after the Kamino uprising), a fleet over Felucia, a fleet over Mustafar (after destroying the Droid army and Gizor Delso), fleet over Naboo (after destroying the queens army of jedi knights) and a fleet over Tattoine. I think having your own fleet like over Tattoine is perfect and has alot of positives. Pretty much i rather be on the death star during 11BBY til 1BBY at least its safe and pretty much gets you out of action for a while.
Mandalor is like sparta
Love the Mandalorians.
Even without the heroes what about Endor and the murder teddy bears?
5:30 is that Chewbacca’s house?
Please do a second video of this
glad u put some battlefront ll in here
Do best planets for a stormtrooper, I've just graduated from the academy and I want to know what to look forward to when serving my great and beautiful empire
Madalore is the Ancient Sparta of Star Wars
At 1:30 that center Twi'leks head looks like something else lol
Great video
Thank you so
Thank you
i agree
Yeah, but Coruscant would be like working on a planet sized Times Square. No thanks.
Gen tech is Yang Gang!
Umbara was the Vietnam for the clones.
I did not notice that the negative space in his t shirt was the millennium falcon till now
Who wouldn't want to be on ryloth those twileks make it worth it
Hello there!
General pootis bird
-oboy 05 you are a bold one!
And remember we are generation tech
If I was a stormtrooper the 2 planets I would want to be stationed on is 1: forest planets of Endor, 2: kashyyyk. two heavily forest planets with lots of dangerous predators and other wildlife danger…… that would suit me great in order to transform myself into badass old guy Tarkin.
Endor is one the worst because of Ewok from everyone experiences from Ewok hunt
Mandalore is basically the star wars version of america
You forgott Endor!
What invictus?
T O' Latin for "unconquered", ala "Invictus games" (look up William Henley's poem of the same name)
I know, what was the word said before invictus?
It's "morior", latin for "fading"
Arthipex thanks
That's actually pretty badass.
What I learned from this video, avoid any named characters that are in Star Wars battlefront and avoid any planets that are in the films
Actually I thought instead of Jakku being number one I thought it was going to be Endor.
What's the image from 1:03 from?
It's some comic or another I think. The imperial starship these soldiers were stationed on got infected by a zombie creating virus (possibly from the geonosians, or just that planet, I remember doing research on the subject after buying some action figure from the clone wars show series, and it was a geonosian infected with said virus), and slowly ate away at the forces, making the living slowly lock away sections of the ship as they would continue to be attacked by the dead soldiers, even after defeating a force of zombies, the same zombies that died, would just get back up, given the picture above. Now that I'm remembering more correctly, it was a virus that caused this, or a worm that got into the subjects brain, the soldiers would turn all grey or green, their eyes would roll back into their heads, and like I previously stated, once killed, (unless you kill the worm itself) theyll simply get back up.
so basically stay away from the Star Wars version of the Middle East and Wookies
They arrived adorned in plastic armor
Every step leading to slow death
All hope lost
Sacrificed for nothing
No during the clone wars almost all of the mandalorians where pasifist and had no weapons of armour only death watch did
What is happening at 1:03?
Mandalore is like the old Sparta, being trained at a young age and being awesome in combat
"Stormtroopers are cheap mass produced soldiers"
No they aren't. They are elite shock troopers, we just see them so much because the movies and shows take place on high priority planets
You are mixing clone troopers and stormtroopers
@@panzerkampfwagenviiimaus2187 no, I'm not. Clone Troopers were mass produced soldiers from Kaminaon cloning facilities, and they were elite. Stormtroopers were in fact elite soldiers, but we see them so much because all of the movies take place at high priority facilities/planets.
@@itambor The thing is that clones was traind from birth and was geneticly modifyd to kill.
The reason why they later turnd down the cloning program is becouse it was to expensive.
So they switch to stormtroopers that got less and worse training.
Stormtroopers had good training and they were good soliders. But they were far from "elite".
@@panzerkampfwagenviiimaus2187 they were classified as elite troops -_-
No elite troopers in the world shoots from the hip
R.I.P. Stormtroopers
Tbh, Alan is my favorite part of Generation Tech.
