That's a lot of work and very nicely done. I got 170+ out of a 1986 FJ1200 back in the day, I don't feel the dyna chassis is up to being pushed hard. I've tested my TC88 to off the 120 clock but it's my comfortable limit with buckhorns and forward controls. People seem to like being taken on the trip out as much as anything.
@theodavies8754 thank you! I completely agree, this bike isn’t built for speed. Fun to play around on and mod it, but there’s no denying that it isn’t designed to win a race. I pull out my triumph daytona when I want to go fast, but sometimes that’s a little silly to be going those speeds.
