- iPhone 12 mini battery getting replaced. The old battery has 91% capacity left and the new battery has 100%. We need to remove the screen to access the bad battery and install a new battery. The 12 mini has a small battery and the capacity decesare rapidly if you use higher wattage chargers.
The battery replacement difficulty of this device is 6 out of 10. The main thing to be careful about is the screen that need to come out first to access the battery. As everybody else is saying, 90% is ridiculous. You'll be back into your phone every six months or so if you do that, lithium batteries always lose 1-1.5% per month.

Hello, i have a question. Can i change the battery with one with high capacity, without any risk?
No risk in general, I just do not trust those guys seller higher capacity batteries. You shouldn't have any actual issues with the phone except maybe the battery notification and battery health disappearing.

Does it always appear when you turn on your phone or occasionally while using it? does it bother you or does it come out only as soon as you replace it and then it doesn't appear anymore?
No you will see the pop-ups notification a few times after replacing the battery. It will later stop showing. I don't remember the last time I saw it on my se2020 (it has a battery replacement a year ago)

Not sure if you can see it without opening unless it's badly sealed.

Not exactly sure. You'll have to do a little research on that on Google or app store

Will say yes. If you can find legit batteries with increased capacity in approximately the same dimensions. Lot of batteries online with upgraded capacity....are they really better...haven't done tests on battery upgrades yet.

@@whinnie2227lol get a good brand search the brand before you buy to see if it's an actual prank or just some china battery renamed also battery can't have more than 20% more capacity than the original battery as lithium battery tech hasn't gotten that far yet

You do not need to replace the battery at 90%.
100% is bettering than 90%
When it falls below 90% you'll need to carry a charger outside 🤷🏽♂️
@@ersbit stop spreading stupidity. When the iPhone falls below 80%, a battery replaced is advised. 90 is perfectly fine and you don’t need a charger with you. Pure ignorance

Hi I had links in the description for the parts I used. Only Apple supplies batteries that are original. Other websites cannot say theirs is original but it should work fine without any issues. Try to look at the reviews if you're skeptical about the battery quality.

I saw in AliExpress a 4250mAh battery for iphone 12 mini, are they actually better than the original?, I mean, the capacity is almost the double according to them .. have u done a battery improvement like this ?

Where can get original battery
From Apple I guess. I am not sure 100% but Apple is providing parts through their self repair program. I do not know if you can buy parts only or they will bundle the part with tools necessary for you to fix it yourself then send the tools back after you are done.
Officially Apple only can provide original.

Actually they have changed stuff by software update. You do keep face ID even if the battery is not reprogrammed with the motherboard. You will only lose battery health stats.
@@ersbit I mean that you did not protect the truedepth sensor because it is very sensitive and the problem of truedepth disabled usually becomes when it is exposed to dirt or handprints.
