Buildings are actually prerendered models. This is what enabled them to look far more detailed than what would be possible for graphics cards of year 2000 when this game was released. If they were rendered in real time they would look far less detailed.
@@globalvillage423 You're confusing some stuff there. Buildings are indeed prerendered sprites, but made from plain normal 3D polygon models, not from voxels. The _units_ are voxels, and those _are_ 3D rendered by the engine in real time.

I love this game, and still go back to play it every so often. Bought C&C theater of war collection for like 10$ way back when. Came with C&C 95 , RA, RA2, and Tiberium Sun. Best 10$ spent. Didn't come with Yuri's revenge thought unfortunately
GG - You played really well, but it was a bit frustrating toward the end to watch you not using harriers (and rocketeers) when you had so much spare cash. Harriers wouldn't have slowed down your tank prod and a small handful of harriers could have finished off the superweapons or taken out a Cyard if you used the harrier suicide trick.
