Great review. Very comprehensive. I’ve had mine for a month and absolutely love it. So many people looking at and asking about it. Brilliant value for money, and build quality is outstanding.
I have 2 fiidos the m1 and the L3 I love them build quality is very good nice and solid and the L 3 has a massive range a guy in the usa got 74 miles no peddling.
@@pinoyrunningpenguin the m1 although the l3 had a big range it felt to small and the weight on the back made it lighter on the front end . so I did not like the way it handled sold it so now I just have my m1 which I still love.
@@pinoyrunningpenguin it was not that I could not fit the l3 plenty of adjustment. I was not keen on the small wheels I think the smallest I would go is 16 in I had the d2s which I really liked as well .I think that after 50 years riding motorcycles the m1 was more my style 🤔
How is this bike doing now? Is it durable, how is the battery doing? I don’t want to buy anything that lasta only a year or so. Hard to find long time reviews.
Why does no one talk about the problems of fixing punctures\changing tyres on rear wheels? Most of these bikes make it impossible to remove the rear wheel, so how does this one stack up?
This is a good point. I've not had an issue to date with the rear tyre so I've not had to try. Maybe I will do a video to see what it's like to change a tyre/inner tube. I assume the motor cables need to be slack enough to allow you to move the wheel away from the bike 🤔
@@JourdainColeman Yeah that's it exactly, it seems alot of these bikes are a nightmare to change rear tyres, but no one talks about it, maybe this one is fine I'm not sure.
Does this bike have a throttle? I have an e bike but it's only pedal assisted. I require a bit extra help from a static position when in traffic up a hill etc.
Hi i have a question. Can u detached the battery and only charge the battery? I live in 4th floor and feels so tiring whenever i want to charge the bike🥲
No battery is in the frame and it can be replaced regardless what people have been saying I have one on order but due to the bad after-sales and customer service I may request my money back if they can’t keep to the 5 working day deadline from their UK warehouse.
Customer service and after-sales are sketchy, people have been ordering and apparently waiting weeks and in some cases months. I’m requesting a money back claim if they can’t ship I; the 5 days 🤬 waiting around.
Thanks for the review Jourdain, very well presented and very well filmed and not too long. Can you just cofirm how well this bike performs in pedal only on the flat and also on hills? The lack of gears is the only thing that makes me hesitate. Thanks.
It's a good bike... but with the single gear going up hill with no assist is not the easiest. If there were a couple of gears it would be a big help. Honestly, I only ever ride in full assist, mainly because you have to pedal super quick because of the gearing. I just pedal up to speed, then let the motor do the rest. Rinse repeat. 👍🏽
@@martinmccue7495 for the money I'm happy. I love going out on it (I just got back from riding around the park) I went to town earlier on it too. Still, my only complaint is that it's not the most comfortable ride, especially if the path is bumpy. Literally best to stand up on the peddles and use the throttle over bumpy bits. Probably be sorted by a better seat or maybe a suspension seat post. Be prepared for people looking at you, as if they have never seen a bike before.
Very great and thorough review, thank you very much!! I have a Fiido D4S and I am astonished at how reliable it is. So when I saw the D3 at the bargain price of £363 I got it as a back up bike. Awaiting its delivery and I thank you for showing how to put it together. Safe riding all ❤️✌️

So does the "moped' mode mean it will go without having to pedal then ?
Can you add a rear rack at the back to support child seat?
Hi Jourdain, sorry english isn't my first language but did you say it's good going uphill or bad?
It's ok, not too bad. But on long steep hills it may struggle. Also, hills will affect the battery life so keep that in mind.
Isn’t this illegal if it will twist and go up to 15.5mph?
Yes
Never did a battery only test?
How long does it take to deliver

Yes mate it has a throttle
do you think all the wires exposed could create an issue?
hey! I've not had any issues after a few months of use 👍🏽
mine didn't come with a hidden pump :/ maybe it's only a feature on the US stocks for this model ?
Excellent review.

How can I change the kph to mph on the display? Thanks for the complete review.
Double click the speed change button
Brilliant grown up review, so much better than a Pilgrim one I just sat through, well done
Glad you enjoyed it
what is the top speed pls?
I wasnt too sure of its length with your tape, is it 47 inches? or...thanks
Needs a rack that's also a to stand it up on its end. Makes sense not having a folding frame.
Can you get a second battery for it
How can i get it in Ireland?
Do u have to keep pedaling when running on the electric
sir how tall are you, if you said in the video i missed it and can't find it
I sent for this bike because of this video. It didn’t come with the pump???
£363 now. Tempted to get one just for a little fun run around at the weekends

can a 5'7" person pedal with legs fully extended?
Yeah, you'll be fine. I can rode fully extended and I'm 5ft 9" 👍🏼
Ordered mine now at £363 not much more than an illegal to use E-scooter
I paid £374 including the hard handlebar bag but no pump on it anymore, that’s extra at £59 😢
Yh they stopped putting the pump on the seat post. Unfortunately, it was an ingenious idea I think.
Pump.is in the seat post.
@mikewood5679 Na mines didn't come with it. I got mine in March
How would you say it has aged?
@the_hasnat it's actually really good for what it is. It's worth it 100%. U can hack it to get it to go 20mph instead of 15 hehe
very good review
What is error code 1 on my bike
Just recived my. No pump in seat :(

Fi-dough? Or fi-do as in do good?
