@15:00 - I LOVE the way you are "digging in" to this brass preset, man! 😁 Sliding up really makes it howl. 😍 That is a really sweet patch right there! 🤓🤓
So happy you got one of these. When you eventually finish getting through all the soundpacks & desktop stuff, there are some other iOS apps that can make fairly good use out of at least some of the MPE stuff. eg Animoog, Model 15, PPG apps, GarageBand, Arctic ProSynth, SpringSound, ThumbJam, Gestrument, GeoShred.
Steve Watkins Yes, I have tried Geo Shred, Model 15, Animoog and Alchemy inside GarageBand, very cool, Animoog and Geo were both the most responsive so far but each patch varied
What's it like trying to record MIDI tracks with it controlling iPad virtual synths into an iPad MIDI sequencer? That would be my main application and I just can't get a sense of it. Just a nightmare? Does anything on the iPad have MIDI CC follows MIDI notes so you can do corrections to what you've played without losing your mind correcting data in 5 places per note? Also, Does the iPad Noise App respond to MIDI start/stop?
I would like to have a app like beat hawk or GarageBand which can support fixed velocity (127) with seaboard block so that I can comfortably play without worrying about the 5D Touch. Do you want to suggest any app?.. bcs I’m a beginner sometimes I get frustrated on pressing hard
I got mine and so far I hate it! I’m gonna give it a few tries and sell it if I don’t like it. Can’t figure out the software. Don’t like the feel of it. Also, I can’t play music. Maybe if I knew that it will help. But u make it look fun!! Can u give a tutorial from start.
It’s a controller. Controllers don’t make sounds by themselves, they only send instructions (via midi) to other programs. And those progrms are the ones making sounds. But keep in mind that this here is a special controller and it will not work with every program/app just certain ones.
Brilliant! I’m so happy that you got this. I know you’ll have a lot of fun getting used to how the thing plays.

How exciting that you got a Seaboard Block! Thanks for the vid.
Take a while? Looked to me like you have mastered it already, nice video, thanks.

Who else cracked up at the instant peaceful sound after that insane bass sound segment?! :-D
I did
This is making me want to really learn the keyboard vs the guitar!
You made me buy one. Hope your post was uneaten...
Nice Demo, Doug. I downloaded "Noise" but I cannot get the instruments - just Drumloops,,,?
That’s strange, it definitely comes with some free instruments, I'm doing a full tutorial for NOISE very soon so that may help
Real Nice .😊 God Bless

Hey, I have a question. when do you play the sound comes from the piano? or do you need an additional column?

people should stop calling seaboard a piano, or approach it as such; it is not a piano, it is a whole different instrument with a different technique
