The advantage of encircling an enemy only partially, as described in Sun Tzu's *The Art of War*, is that it leaves the enemy a path to retreat, reducing their desperation and resistance. When the enemy feels there’s a chance for escape, their fighting spirit weakens, making them less dangerous. This approach allows for minimizing devastating battles, preserving forces for other strategic objectives, while still controlling the course of the battle and reducing losses

Well yes if you don't have Fab and TOS. If you have Fab and TOS circle them and rain fire.
Why give your enemy time to regroup. In ancient Chinese, they will burst dam, spike water and conduct bio warfare. Then killed everyone that still survive. So the context is suitable for certain areas and not suitable for other areas.

I have a sense everyone that is telling people what to do in Ukraine (you can't really identify them as leadership because who really has legitimacy in Ukrainian government currently) is cracking on in a land of wonder?
The only reason why Ukraine decided to open up new front lines and start new counter offensives is to suggest they are as strong as Russia when in reality and everyone sees it, who's honest at least, this is just complete desperation and the Ukrainian last death rattle from the dying Ukrainian body. It's exactly what Germany did in their last days and it's surprising how similar both these neonazi countries have fought, Germany in 1939-45 and today Ukraine, 2022-2024.
Not only that similarity but also as an added bit of desperation Zelensky is jealous of Israel's attention the US and others are giving it, and preparing to 'defend Israel' from the opposition. Zelensky is quite pissed he's not getting this level of support and is trying to entrap the West into lock itself into an unwinnable war with Russia, no matter how hard they fight, while at the same time keeping Israel from going under and wanting very much to go to war with China in the very near future.
I have a sense the rest of the world are so over the US hegemony that if a world war should start it was be directed to the US, UK and EU and not just limited to the Middle East, and Europe of old. The US have cultivated many upon many enemies, just ask them, but there comes a time when what you keep calling people and deriding them they will eventually say 'Screw You' you want us to be enemies, fine let's go then.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.
20th September, 2021: Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO.
NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter).
We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.
Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster?
Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest.
Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland.
Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed.
Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”.
Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it.
Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country.
Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. 13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list.
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list.
There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence).
The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present.
Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.
Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P.
The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims).
The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter.
I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion.
I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written.
Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.

Starting an incursion into any of an enemy's territory is a huge gamble. Instead of having only one direction to focus your attention on, you now have three. You also need extremely efficient logistics for supporting those at the front of the incursion - taking care of wounded, food, ammunition, repairs and maintenance, resupply of lost or damaged weapons, and most importantly, maintaining an positive level of active personnel. Any of the above which is unable to maintain its minimum acceptable level has a direct impact on the rest.

Point blank is the range at which the projectile remains usefully within the height of a man. i.e. You don't have to adjust your sights for distance and can still hit someone. 300 Meter perhaps in wheat field or in the west you have a long stretch of low land. which provides clear line of sight.
Other than that, dude it's 0 to 50 meters and scope or not scope using an AR limits our sight.
So Uzi or SMG or MP or Semi Auto Handgun or Shotgun yelled better due to less response time and line of sight.

I've always had a theory that Russia allowed this attack. They moved manpower and air defences away from Kursk before this attack - that's true. But why? They don't have any shortages so it wasn't necessity. The wider the gap in manpower in the Donetsk region the safer and easier it will be for Russia. Also, this entire offensive is still stopped by a Sumy pincer operation, so it doesn't materially change anything at all. The Ukrainians know this but are not fighting a war, they're playing propaganda games to win the psychological war they always talk about, which doesn't actually exist.

Anyone who has played Hearts of Iron 4 will know you can force the enemy into some very stupid positions if you set up your frontline correctly. I never once thought it would actually work in real life. Why would you feed MORE men and material into a developing pocket? ESPECIALLY when you're already firmly in last place when it comes to reserves of either. Ukraine should be shortening their lines. They should have withdrawn from the Kursk salient already. Only Ukraine could have LESS of everything it needs to fight a war, and yet try and capture MORE territory. Counter-attacks are of course viable sensible military doctrine in many instances, but they clearly have VERY limited means to conduct them. And then they go and waste it by getting MORE of their forces encircled. The incompetence is so astounding. Ukraine should have just accepted Russian terms when all this conflict first started to bubble up, they'd LITERALLY have lost less population, territory and resources if they'd just accepted they were strategically defeated on day 1. The word has become a joke, a cliche. The Boy Who Cried Collapse. "Any day now" for the last 10 months doesn't wash.
The fact that you'll be proven right one day doesn't change the fact that you are wrong today.

Every TH-cam video is about collapse or crumble of the Ukrainian lines. Yes, Ukraine is in deep trouble, but "collapse" is totally another thing.
