I loved this quote too! I listened to the book today after reading it for the idk number of times but today this quote resonated and then I came here and your comment is top #omen
My favorite take away was a similar sentiment, The principle of favorability: If you TRULY want something in life, the universe is working in your favor for you to have it. :) Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
I LOVED this book! One of the most romantic quotes I've ever read in a book "“So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.”
Its SO GOOD! It literally changed my life. My favorite quote is similar. The principle of favorability. When you truly want something, all of the universe is working in your favor for you to have it! Yes!!! Thank you so much for commenting!
This book also changed my life, came into my life when I most needed it as well. One of my most favorite quote is “Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the world, and it will one day return there”
It's all about understanding the omens and this book was the omen in my life that i needed the most. The peace we feel while reading the book and relived feeling after the book is completed is something to keep with you throughout the life.
This is a book I'd like to read multiple times throughout my life. I just finished it for the first time and it is so dense with wisdom considering it being such a small book, so it's going to multiple runs to digest everything.
What I loved from the book is that there are omens that will lead you to your dream. Because when you really want something the universe will conspire to help you get it.
What a charming review of this awesome novel. Your enthusiasm is infectious. You make me want to read it again. I find it always adds a lot to know a bit about author's lives, and Coelho's personal history is telling. His dad wanted Coelho to follow in his own footsteps and to become an engineer, but Coelho was rebellious (and yet introverted). He refused this career path and wanted to be a writer. At just 17, his frustrated dad committed Coelho to a psychiatric institution. At 20, he was finally released, but not before escaping three times. He drew on that challenging experience after succeeding in becoming a writer, yet he was philosophical about his parents' efforts to mold him into their image of him. He accepted that they weren't malicious; that they were just trying to help him. Not surprisingly, we the same philosophical acceptance of the slings and arrows that fate throws at the character of Santiago in The Alchemist.
Yes! So powerful and true! We have to stand up to what appears to be scary to break down the imaginary walls that separate us from others! Thank you for watching and commenting! :)
I just finished this book, it’s actually the first book I decided to read for my own pleasure in a very long time. So glad I did. I have a sticky note on almost every page. It resonated so much and it’s so inspiring. ❤️
I read this book a couple months ago in my sophmore year of high school. I gotta say it was an amazing book. It really gave me some perspective on my life. It taught me valuable life lessons that have helped me grow as a person. 😊
In the alchemists there was a shepherd and his name was Santiago. Santiago liked to travel a lot. He went to Egypt to find his treasure in the pyramids. Along the way he found many people, and one of them was the love of his life. In the end of the story he found the treasure. The treasure was in the first place he started his journey. The main characters in the story was santiago,Fatimah, the alchemists, and the king. All of the character were credible, for example Santiago is c credible person because you can relate a person who wants to follow his dream to never give up,and he almost went poor for a long time just to follow his dream. Fatimah was Santiago's lover in the story. She would talk to him every day next to the well. She told Santiago to go follow his dream and she will be waiting for him. Santiago was in Egypt trying to find his treasure. While Santiago was in Egypt with the alchemist, they ran into some Army people. The army people told Santiago that he has 3 days to show his power to the chief. In the days Santiago showed his power to the chief.
Thank you. Anything that will push me to my purpose and destiny, I am reading. Will be getting this book. I just stumbled on your channel, but I know it was a divine appointment. Be blessed.
Thank you so much for your kind words Queen! The Alchemist is one of those books that comes to you at the exact time you need it. Be patient and kind to yourself. Sending peace your way!
I love how your passion is shining through :) I too enjoy the book and my favourite quote is, "When you want something, all the Universe conspires in helping you achieve it"
Thank you for helping me go deeper mentally into this book. I listened to it on YT, but I am “old school”, I have to buy the book now and absorb these words. Your AMAZING, thank you!!!!!
Just finished the book literally moments ago. Definitely like you said came to me at a time in my life when I needed this to make a change and to live and not exist. All the best with the channel.
The story is about a boy named Santiago who became a shepherd to pursue his dreams of traveling when a king told him to pursue his destiny. Santiago went on an adventure in Egypt meeting new people and falling in love while the omens guided him to his treasure. Santiago, the Alchemist and Fatima are the main characters of the story. The characters are credible but sometimes they might lie because they did not want to fall in danger or get other people in danger. Santiago followed his destiny, the Alchemist helped Santiago follow his destiny, and Fatima fell in love with Santiago and helped Santiago find the Alchemist. Santiago fell into a lot of problems in the story some of which are getting his money stolen, and when Santiago and the Alchemist were captured into a military camp. Santiago was my favorite character because he always believed in himself and worked hard to achieve his destiny. I cannot relate to any character because I have not experienced anything like following my destiny since I’m young. I have not felt or done any of things the characters did. Yes, I like this novel because it taught me a lot of things. My favorite part was when Santiago met the king because that’s when Santiago’s journey started. My least favorite part of the book is when Santiago figured out that the treasure was in the church that Santiago was in in the begging of the book. I would change the ending. I would recommend this book to another person because the book is fascinating and its short. I would recommend this book to someone who likes to read about adventures and working hard, to someone who likes to read fictional books, and to someone who prefers their books short and easy to read.
This is one of my favorite books! I read it in 2011 when I found myself in the hospital before and after major surgery. It was a great read during that time period.
💚❤ One of the lessons I took from the book: The theme about life. There is no competition. The competitive mindset is an illusion. "The Boy" still struggle with his faith up until near the end. And he is still stuck in the doubt mindset until near the end. But eventually it goes away and he doesn't get smashed anymore or beaten by haters and naysayers. Naysayers violent robbers STOP having an impact on his amazing pursuit of his goal. ❤💚
Our eyes show how strong our soul is. We are an alchemist, a perfect disciple, and a true believer depends on how we perceive things in our way. To know our Personal Legend is our obligation to ourselves. The ways to understand the Language of the World. It turns to realize the Law of Nature and Law of Life. Thus, it requires learning the act of hospitality and the principle of favorability. To fulfill one Personal Legend requires listening ability with the Language of the Soul because when encountering the Universal Language, we don't realize that it is. Life is too short to resent what is reserve for us. It is ours to claim. We have to acknowledge the Language of Soul through the Purest Language of the World and with the essential quality of life to be understood thoroughly. Sharing the utmost respect to our heart's belief, we are afraid of suffering, yet it is the worst part rather than suffering itself. "One is loved because one is loved. There's no reason for loving. When you want something, all the universe conspires to help achieve it. For only those who are persistent and willing to study hard who will achieve their Masters's Work. It is our destiny, it is your Personal Legend."
Reading the comments makes me feel a little emotional. Everyone is saying that this book came into their life when they really needed it. Much like the king who appeared to help Santiago. That is so meta and beautiful. This book really is magic.
Absolutely! It saved me from myself honestly! I think everyone will grow from this book when the time comes for them to! Thank you for watching and commenting! :)
❤💚 Thanks so much for your amazing review. Its an amazing book. I listened and read it one inahalf times. Not enough! It needs to be listened to and read numerous times. Its so powerful. 💚❤
What a really nice review. I started reading it yesterday, I finished it today. I feel like I like I would love everyone that loves the book now :P Epic!
I’m not sure if you going to spoil it for me. Coz I’m on 2:15 of your clip and you already telling me specifics. I was hoping you were going to give an overview. I would love to listen more but I’m scared of spoilers

I love this book so much. It's the only book I've re-read a dozen times. Great review! Also you have an interesting accent. I assume you're American but what kind of accent do you have?
My apologies for taking so long to respond to you. This is my favorite book! I dont think I've read it a dozen times but close! lol I'm from the east coast, Philly to be exact. Maybe its a philly accent! :)

Thank you Ali! How long did it take me the first time when it changed my life!!? I want to say 4 days! Since reading it a 5th and 6th time, I’ll take my time and pick it us as my spirit guides me. I think that’s a useful reading tip for any book! Stick with it, but let your spirit guide you 🙏🏽 Thank you for watching and commenting!

i have read 1 book fully the alchemist then i read it 3 more times loved it so much bought it at a train station made the long journey a wonderful adventure
haha! It's like that sometimes. I think you just have to be in a space where you really need to receive its message. I've read it 4 times, and I felt more from it the 1st and 3rd times reading it, I think due to my present circumstances at the time. :) Thank you for watching and commenting.
I read it in it’s original language, witch is Portuguese. I didn’t like the book too. And that’s why: Paulo coelho definitely doesn’t have any talent writing. The story is really repetitive, the message is not very deep and it’s repeated multiple times. The autor writes in a really poor way.
The Learning Ella Don't worry of you don't like it. Maybe for you it's all about the timing. I think you didn't enjoy the book because you read it at a time when the message meant less to you.

This book also changed my life, came into my life when I most needed it as well. One of my most favorite quote is
“Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the world, and it will one day return there”
I know it's really popular but one of favorite quote is

Favorite from this book is “their caravan made a lot of detours but they’re always heading for the same destination “
One last one - People are capable at anytime in their lives, of doing what they dream of.

Courage is the quality most essential to understanding the language of the World.
