Hey Jake - I just hit the subscribe button. You seem to ride all the same trails I do. We should ride together sometime. Thanks for the great info on your rides, love the content. Keep up the good work.
That’s one of my many bread and butter rides when I’m up at my house in Donner. I usually ride up Hawks Peak, traverse to Drifter and cross over the ridge top to DLRT. Then climb back up Alder Creek back to my house. Great ride.
You’ll love it! One of the best trails I’ve ever ridden. It’s easier than Toads but definitely not a trail to take lightly, the black diamond rating is appropriate.
Amazing views and good job there ✌️🚵♂️😍
Thanks Fabio! Go check it out sometime, it’s worth it! 😎
How many psi do you rode there ?
@@fabiozambrotti23 in the front, 26 in the rear.
Great Video! I've been scouting out this trail and you did a great job of laying out the ride.
Thanks Tony! Easily one of the best trails i’ve ever ridden. Go ride it! 😎
Great video. What make and model pedals do you use?
Thanks! One Up Components aluminum pedals.
Love visiting my buddy in Tahoe, the public trail and park options are insane
They really are. Tahoe is a special place
Brutal climb…😬. Worth the view though
Absolutely 🤙

Thanks Steve, appreciate that! Yeah, I’m always down to ride. Shoot me a DM sometime
This actually looks semi technical unlike most of the Tahoe trails on YT. Nice mix of flow with a very little bit of chunk.
Mr.Toads is still the hardest trail I’ve ridden in Tahoe, i’d put this at 2 or 3. Fantastic trail though, maybe my favorite.
Yeah that elevation difference catches your breath for sure. Beautiful backcountry ride!
Thanks! It definitely does. Second day wasn’t as much of a factor though. Can’t beat Tahoe scenery 🤙

Lots of great riding in the area, can’t wait to go back and explore some more. Christmas Valley was so much fun, one of my favorite trails.
@jakespeakman you should hit Big Chief next!
Maybe i will!
Looking forward to riding this one of these days! Would you say it’s harder or easier than Mr Toads?

Do you carry bear spray in your hip pack for these solo Tahoe rides? I’ve come across a bear a little closer than I would like…
No, but it’s crossed my mind. Probably not a bad idea
There seems to be a lot of rattlesnakes. The entire video i can hear you passing rattlesnakes. 😮
😳
