3 weeks ago I found a pair of platform high tops in rust color, in excellent condition - IN MY SIZE!! They were $14.99 and I left them behind because my husband just lost his job. I’ve been thinking about them ever since. 😢
Just want to inform you about the broken zipper situation. The more sophisticated zippers have a fancy mechanism so they can only be undone if you are pulling on the zipper. They have a little metal thing inside or around the hook. You can move it up (or away from the garnment for 1mm) with your nail if the dangling thing is broken and you will be able to open it. Otherwise it is stuck in the place :) I had the same problem with a pair of boots but then I figured out the mechanism and now it is not a problem anymore :)
Also honey! Raw honey! I felt with my forehad on a hot oven when i was little. My mother applied raw honey imediatly No scars left! Skin smooth as a baby!
Oh my gosh, those beige Tommy Hilfiger jeans looked AMAZING on you! Did you find them to be too small in the end, because they look like they fit you great?
Omg that sweater @ 12:27 looks like it's straight off the set of CATS. A hot tip (haaa no pun intended) for that ouchie burn, get a tube of generic silvadene and keep it in the fridge, it is an absolute lifesaver. Happy New Year!!!

I am a coat person too,I have over 100 coats and jackets ..... and also knitwear (I live in Scotland so it gets cold and damp here so we need warm coats and knitwear). yes! Joseph Ribkoff is a major Canadian designer so that bronze top was expensive originally. Also, you bought a pair of Escada brown jeans to cut up for a thrift flip a few weeks ago and I almost cried! Those can go for over $200US on eBay lol. Fun to watch you shop! :)

Somehow I find these thrifting videos so relaxing and I am just curious to see what others find at the thrift stores! And as for coats, the first thing I think about is how warm it will be. I suppose you don't have to worry about that in CA but here it gets down to -20 windchills on a regular basis so warmth is huge! Then #2 is fit. A coat won't keep you warm if its too big and a huge area is between you and the coat! I have never seen any good coats at my thrift here. Certainly not anything cute.
I liked the quilted jacket it just made your eyes and hair pop... cute... the denim bag would look nice with it. Great shopping trip. So sorry for your neck🥵. Ice, Ice. I put lidocaine on burns then desetin. I did burn myself one time with the curling iron at my temple ouch!!! It took quite awhile for the scar to lighten up. Your hair looked nice...
None of you ladies who thrift ever feel comfortable saying the word "Shacket". Couldn't we all agree that it's a crappy word and nobody wants to use it to describe the "oversized lined flannel" or "shirt with quilted lining"? LOL. These shirts were very popular in the 1970s, too (yes, I wore my share of them!) and we just called them "work shirts" or "shirt-jacket". Oh wow, that pink cardigan with pink fur looked OUTSTANDING on you!! And the pants you said were a size too small actually looked amazing, too, both the TH mom jeans and the plaid ones. Fantastic haul!

Whenever I get a burn in the kitchen, I soak a paper-towel in vinegar and then lay that on the burn for a good 15 minutes. It really helps.
Anything you use for sunburn works. I forgot about vinegar.
