I’ve realized that this Show can’t survive without Ayan and Lesa. Caroline S was threading very close to the R-word stamp. Andy made it clear that the show was based on Caroline S but we got 2 Black women who made her irrelevant and boring. They need another Season without Phaedra, Brooke’s support. Ayan is GOLD and Lesa came prepared and shined. I’ve never laughed so much with a reunion, my hubby questioned if I was OK. Great Recap!
Hey Debbie!! Thank you!! I have to say while I’m no Stanbury fan, Lesa and Ayan were a bit obnoxious at times during this reunion imo! And after thinking about it, I really don’t know if anyone carried this season tbh. I’m going to need some more organic storylines, real friendships and less attention seeking “I wanna be the star” antics from some of these ladies! 😭😩
Brooke, what’s so apparent Lesa and Ayan came to the Reunion knowing that it’s 4 against 2. That’s why you probably saw antics. Those 4 ladies saw Lesa/Ayan as the Fan favorite and presented themselves as sloppy and desperate for camera time. Trying to convince the viewers Lesa/Ayan are not it. It’s was so funny to see these ladies so threatened by 2 black ladies. At the same time, Caroline S, knows this Show is not for her. Thanks
Oh, but it can survive without those two, bring in some more Nina's, more Sara's a few traditional Muslim women and find a couple more sista's and you got a great season

In defense of Lesa, I think it's Nina's change up coupled with the gang up at the end of the season. Imagine knowing someone for 6 years (longest friendship in the group) and your friend WARNS you about this woman. Then cameras go up, filming starts, and all of a sudden she's BFFs with that same woman (the anticipated "queen bee" of the show). AND THEN they team up against you and your other friend. It feels very calculated to me and I don't blame Lesa for looking at Nina sideways.

More so, if this was true I definitely see Ayan, Lesa (most especially) thoroughly and aggresively denying it... and correcting Brooks. But that's just me. They, however did admit that they wanted to show that Stansbury was not the queen Bee. I'm not theorizing. That is what happened at the reunion. I do think that Brookes may have lied the Stansbury stating that they were plotting to get rid of her just as she lied to Ayan and stated Stansbury thought Ayan was unimportant. I highly doubt Lesa and Ayan were jealous of Stanbury. She’s the one who was bothered by Ayan to the point of calling Ayana and asking her not join the show because it was centered around her and her friends. I think Stanbury was tooting her own horn and this rubbed Lesa and Ayan the wrong way, so they vowed to outshine her. Besides, Lesa and Ayan don't have the power to kick Stanbury out of the show, only the executives can do that lol Edit: I also don’t think Nina,Sara, Stanbury and Brooks genuinely like Ayan. I feel like they all look down on her apart from Lesa.
Bottom line is that these women teamed up against Lesa and Ayan. I agree with them standing up to these women. Good for them. None of these women, outside of Lesa and Ayan even offered an apology. During watching this reunion, I was annoyed more so with Caroline Stansbury's inability to hold herself accountable for any of her actions. She was the obnoxious and annoying one for me. Regarding friendship, you cannot judge other people on how they respond to disloyalty. Nina has known Lesa the longest and clearly switched up on Lesa. Friends sit down and talk it out, so Nina should have done that with Lesa, which is the point that Lesa was making repeatedly rather than being fake and insincere.
I think a lot of Ayana’s comments are not as bad as they may appear. I notice that she phrases things that make you think they are worse than her intention due to her English vocabulary. When she apologized to Stanbury saying “I’m sorry that I looked better than you.” I believe Ayan meant to say that she was sorry “If” Stanbury felt that way. I notice quite often that when she tries to explain herself it’s because of her interpretation of the English language. Leaving one word out changes the entire meaning of a comment. It’s easy to see the worst from Ayan because we already assume that she’s confident borderline arrogant. However from the people that have met her in regular life, say the complete opposite and that she is a joy to be around and extremely nice.
Ayan felt bullied at the dinner table because she asked them to stop talking about a party she didn't attend, yet Brooks smirked and started to talk about how fun it was all over again. On Ayan saying she looks the best...I think it's just her english...she rides for her friends and is not shy to compliment others, she just makes sure to have her own back too.

Brooks used this party to trigger Ayan from the get go, telling her she was unimportant then laughing about how fun it was and even when she asked to talk about something else she used a sneaky way to ignore Ayan and continue on. We all know and have seen how Brooks treats Ayan she gets a raise out of triggering and verbally abusing Ayan.
You know- I didn’t take it as Lesa shading Sergio’s sexuality but rather he would need the maternity clothes because Caroline is not interested in having a child and she said that Sergio would be responsible for raising the baby. So I took it as Sergio would need maternity clothes because he is going to be a “mother” and a father when he has a child.
Phew!! folks coming up with all the reasons why Lesa's comments towards sergio was less shady than humorous opposed to being 🔇 when it comes to spouses. But hey to each his own. 👋

Yeah, Nina def held her own in this second part. Lesa was vying for a moment imo. I found her to be a bit obnoxious during this second part. Her being so angry at Nina was weird to me esp since they’ve known each other 7+ years.

This is what I’ve said since the first episode; that Ayan is very obnoxious and wanna-be. Her insecurities are ocean-deep and she is over-compensating with this I’m better than you and I’m funny-and-fantastic attitude. I couldn’t be friends with her. She needs therapy to work on presenting her authentic self more often.
A lot of people have insecurities. But regardless I think Ayan is fun. We the viewers can appreciate that. I don't think she said anything that really deeply offensive

Definitely a LOT of GASLIGHTING amongst them ALL. Lesa appeared less than couth with the rich comparisons, Stanbury's reads were too below the belt and left bad tastes in my mouth, but she weirdly appeared less bothered opposed to Lesa. Lesa should just have come out with the Jeffrey epstein link opposed to her high school reads. Ayan's story was inspiring and she was least less thirsty this second part. Sara is the absolute most talking about Nina _"suffering"_ at the fashion show because she is vegetarian. I was like _"girl shut up"_ in the words of brooke. Brooks is clearly here for the mess all round but was surprised to hear her spill the beans! I hope Nina and Lesa are able to repair their friendship though word on the street is Nina wants to quit....
Brooke, my dear...thank you for a down to the bone marrow recap of these Dubai ladies, ESPECIALLY THE RED MEAT ON AYAN. This constant need she has to not only upstage everybody at every turn, but listening to her create this word salad of confusing words to give digs, it is beyond exhausting. Every single segment this season has been about her and how fabulous she is and how beautiful she is and how she's better than everybody. No way in hell-o do I want to see another season of this hot mess, no way. I really had to pause to comment. Stansbury says she won't invite people she want cool with or only invited those she was close to. She didn't know Lesa or Nina that well but they were there. The invite was sent out to castmates and she didn't invite Ayan because as she said she doesn't like her. Let's not forget that at the dinner Stansbury said categorically she didn't like Ayan. Now somehow at the reunion it's she wasn't close to Ayan. Let's be fair She was filming for this new show so all cast members really could have been invited. A lot of gaslighting is going on.

I also thought it was going to be centered around Stanbury, who I never liked on Ladies of London! I was glad to see they outshine her. This is the only Real Housewives show I watch. I like every cast member, I think they are all so beautiful and I enjoy learning about such an interesting country, whereas, RHOBH, RHOC, RHONJ have very few cast members that I can stand watching. So, indeed, this show was a pleasant surprise! ps: you do a bang up job on these recaps! Thank you for entertaining us!

Won't lie. Last year after your last recap? My hard ole arse shed a couple tears 🤣🤣. Call me silly or sentimental but it is what it is. Going to enjoy the time we have left over either a cup of coffee or my mojito and leave it at that. This Reunion showed me who Lisa really is. Lisa's issue with Nina is that Nina is good friends with other women although her and Lisa knew each other the longest. Lisa also loves that Ayon and Caroline fight over her. I don't think she realizes that she came across as very childish and Petty at this reunion. Especially the gift she gave at the end to Nina. When an actuality she should be reading the book herself.

Truth be told, nobody's had a full house view on their living arrangments. Most have been one room exposed and that's it. Every scene was either outside or at some restaurant eating.
They did !, remember whe she was watering her fake plants, on the phone with her sister and when she cooked something real spicy for her kid, and when her hair was being made for a photo shoot... 1st episode. They mostly showed the insides though not the house itself if that's what you mean.
Ayan addressed the house thing already, they filmed at her home multiple times but those scenes didn’t make the cut. You can go on her social media and see what her homes around the world look like

I'm watching the second part right now. 4 minutes in and I'm OVER IT! Lesa irritates me and the fact that she's irritating me takes it up a notch cause I liked her (I'm on the fence now). During the season, I was getting alot of mean girl (and low-key racist vibes) and, since I seemed to be the only one to notice it, I pushed it to the side to re-evaluate later. Every time I did that, I would be reminded by it from her confessional scenes. Everyone was so fixated on Caroline not liking them (Lesa and Ayan) cause "they are black" or being jealous of them "cause they were black" but they yet no one was picking up on the things either of them said in the confessional towards Stansbury. I get everyone have their favorites but if you're gonna call out one for being passive aggressive and doing things you classify as being racist then you should be able to call out others, whether you like them or not, when they are clearly saying things with similar connotations in the confessionals.
Yes! Lesa was doing way too much at times and it was aggravating! Ayan as well! I need a more cohesive cast if there’s going to be a season 2! It’s clear that a lot of these don’t like each other! This is one of those casts where I feel like no one person carried the show, if that makes sense. 😩

I watched from the first episode and by around the 3rd or 4th episode, I couldn’t take all the fighting, right out the gate it was constant arguing n bickering and I don’t watch shows for that! I think I understand your point of view here. But the thing is that I do understand Lesa's frustration when it comes to Nina and Stanbury. For me personally, Stanbury and Nina reminds me a lot of people I knew that are MASTERS when it comes to keeping a good image/ throwing rocks and hiding their hands / doing their dirt under the table and manipulating other people's perceptions. Even though I do think that Ayan and Lesa are both very reactive and are not very good at managing their emotions. Which can make them look obnauseous. I do believe that their reaction can be valid. Anyways, I'm definitely keeping my eyes on Nina. (As well as Andy who can be sneaky at times). I sense a lot of snakes in the Dubai franchise 🐍🏜️🐪🐫🧐

Brooke, RHOBH, M2M, and RHODubai have arguments and beef that I just don't understand. It's crazy in the way they want to have a moment with someone. I think Ayana deals with understanding when to turn up and when not to turn up. I know language is a barrier and the humor is a little off. Her tone is serious but she's trying to be funny. Lesa needs to stop listening to Rich gas her up.

Even in Ladies of London Caroline S has never come across as likeable. She was very entitled in that show and in Dubai!!! What Ayan went thru..I cannot even imagine...maybe she is the way she is because of what happened to her. Imagine not being able to tell your husband what was done to you until later. All I got from Nina all season was that her father had covid...and kudos to her for filrming while that is happening.
I get where Lesa is coming from. If my good friend has been dogging someone out to me to the point where I'm on the lookout for this person and then they just switch up and become buddy buddy...I'm going to feel weird. It's not to say that I won't get used to the friendship but I would be a bit confused at first.

I was shocked that Nina and Lesa were friends longer than the whole cast, now their friendship is on the fence which is weird. Bravo set the show up as if Stansbury was the queen from day one. If that wasn't true then why did she start in the first episode with not inviting Ayan to her party and making sure everybody knew it.
Ayan and Stansbury are going to become friends next season. Leesa and Brooks are going to get threatened. Sara and Nina are going to get lost in the shuffle
HEAR ME OUT: Dubai should get a second season, most housewives have a sophomore season glow up after seeing themselves and how they act on tv. Given they are all new they should be given that opportunity to grow and develop. Stanbury obviously doesn’t get a pass.
Nina and Lesa need to have a private conversation because Lesa misses their friendship and is still hurt, Seems like she wants to get back to it and let Ayan and Brooks do 6th grade. Ayans story does not match the picture. Her argument with CS was her asking what does she do - because its still not clear. Ayan said a few times her husband takes care of her and the only thing she does is him. Later says she has a model agency blah blah blah. Her home scenes look like the prop scenes they set up on BBW so IDK maybe next season when they put it together it will make sense. No Phaedra please.

Even the ladies said they disliked her before they even met her due to what Nina told them. It’s clear from watching that as soon as Stanbury came on the scene, Ayan started going in on her. Also, Stanbury is really wealthy lol Lesa needs to stop playing with those lies 😂 her ex was a multi millionaire. Also, how is it her fault she was friends with Epstein? You could be here and there hi and bye friends but you don’t have to know everyone’s lives. Look at all the people that hung out with R Kelly. Jay Z and Beyoncé did but no one’s hating on them. Andy Cohen does not care about women and women's issue or who would not help facilitate conflicts between women on several weekly shows and also host these reunions. The reunions show should be done by a women host who can deliver questions without looking like an immature vampire. I’ve realized that this Show can’t survive without Ayan and Lesa. Caroline S was threading very close to the R-word stamp. Andy made it clear that the show was based on Caroline S but we got 2 Black women who made her irrelevant and boring. They need another Season without Phaedra, Brooke’s support. Ayan is GOLD and Lesa came prepared and shined. I’ve never laughed so much with a reunion, my hubby questioned if I was OK. Great Recap!

And after thinking about it, I really don’t know if anyone carried this season tbh. I’m going to need some more organic storylines, real friendships and less attention seeking “I wanna be the star” antics from some of these ladies! 😭😩
Brooke, what’s so apparent Lesa and Ayan came to the Reunion knowing that it’s 4 against 2. That’s why you probably saw antics. Those 4 ladies saw Lesa/Ayan as the Fan favorite and presented themselves as sloppy and desperate for camera time. Trying to convince the viewers Lesa/Ayan are not it. It’s was so funny to see these ladies so threatened by 2 black ladies. At the same time, Caroline S, knows this Show is not for her. Thanks

In defense of Lesa, I think it's Nina's change up coupled with the gang up at the end of the season. Imagine knowing someone for 6 years (longest friendship in the group) and your friend WARNS you about this woman. Then cameras go up, filming starts, and all of a sudden she's BFFs with that same woman (the anticipated "queen bee" of the show). AND THEN they team up against you and your other friend. It feels very calculated to me and I don't blame Lesa for looking at Nina sideways.
Especially since Lesa has known her the longest so yeah of course she knows more and she's sees how shifty Nina is.
Truth. And why the need to contact t Brooke? I love you girl but her doing that seems shady, as thou she trying to get you as a spokesperson.

I highly doubt Lesa and Ayan were jealous of Stanbury. She’s the one who was bothered by Ayan to the point of calling Ayana and asking her not join the show because it was centered around her and her friends. I think Stanbury was tooting her own horn and this rubbed Lesa and Ayan the wrong way, so they vowed to outshine her. Besides, Lesa and Ayan don't have the power to kick Stanbury out of the show, only the executives can do that lol
Edit: I also don’t think Nina,Sara, Stanbury and Brooks genuinely like Ayan. I feel like they all look down on her apart from Lesa.
Bottom line is that these women teamed up against Lesa and Ayan. I agree with them standing up to these women. Good for them. None of these women, outside of Lesa and Ayan even offered an apology. During watching this reunion, I was annoyed more so with Caroline Stansbury's inability to hold herself accountable for any of her actions. She was the obnoxious and annoying one for me. Regarding friendship, you cannot judge other people on how they respond to disloyalty. Nina has known Lesa the longest and clearly switched up on Lesa. Friends sit down and talk it out, so Nina should have done that with Lesa, which is the point that Lesa was making repeatedly rather than being fake and insincere.

I think a lot of Ayana’s comments are not as bad as they may appear. I notice that she phrases things that make you think they are worse than her intention due to her English vocabulary. When she apologized to Stanbury saying “I’m sorry that I looked better than you.” I believe Ayan meant to say that she was sorry “If” Stanbury felt that way. I notice quite often that when she tries to explain herself it’s because of her interpretation of the English language. Leaving one word out changes the entire meaning of a comment. It’s easy to see the worst from Ayan because we already assume that she’s confident borderline arrogant. However from the people that have met her in regular life, say the complete opposite and that she is a joy to be around and extremely nice.
Ayan felt bullied at the dinner table because she asked them to stop talking about a party she didn't attend, yet Brooks smirked and started to talk about how fun it was all over again. On Ayan saying she looks the best...I think it's just her english...she rides for her friends and is not shy to compliment others, she just makes sure to have her own back too.

Brooks used this party to trigger Ayan from the get go, telling her she was unimportant then laughing about how fun it was and even when she asked to talk about something else she used a sneaky way to ignore Ayan and continue on. We all know and have seen how Brooks treats Ayan she gets a raise out of triggering and verbally abusing Ayan.

Definitely a LOT of GASLIGHTING amongst them ALL. Lesa appeared less than couth with the rich comparisons, Stanbury's reads were too below the belt and left bad tastes in my mouth, but she weirdly appeared less bothered opposed to Lesa. Lesa should just have come out with the Jeffrey epstein link opposed to her high school reads. Ayan's story was inspiring and she was least less thirsty this second part. This Reunion showed me who Lisa really is. Lisa's issue with Nina is that Nina is good friends with other women although her and Lisa knew each other the longest. Lisa also loves that Ayon and Caroline fight over her. I don't think she realizes that she came across as very childish and Petty at this reunion. Especially the gift she gave at the end to Nina. When an actuality she should be reading the book herself.

Truth be told, nobody's had a full house view on their living arrangments. Most have been one room exposed and that's it. Every scene was either outside or at some restaurant eating.
They did !, remember whe she was watering her fake plants, on the phone with her sister and when she cooked something real spicy for her kid, and when her hair was being made for a photo shoot... 1st episode. They mostly showed the insides though not the house itself if that's what you mean.
Ayan addressed the house thing already, they filmed at her home multiple times but those scenes didn’t make the cut. You can go on her social media and see what her homes around the world look like

I'm watching the second part right now. 4 minutes in and I'm OVER IT! Lesa irritates me and the fact that she's irritating me takes it up a notch cause I liked her (I'm on the fence now).
During the season, I was getting alot of mean girl (and low-key racist vibes) and, since I seemed to be the only one to notice it, I pushed it to the side to re-evaluate later. Every time I did that, I would be reminded by it from her confessional scenes. Everyone was so fixated on Caroline not liking them (Lesa and Ayan) cause "they are black" or being jealous of them "cause they were black" but they yet no one was picking up on the things either of them said in the confessional towards Stansbury.
I get everyone have their favorites but if you're gonna call out one for being passive aggressive and doing things you classify as being racist then you should be able to call out others, whether you like them or not, when they are clearly saying things with similar connotations in the confessionals.
Yes! Lesa was doing way too much at times and it was aggravating! Ayan as well! I need a more cohesive cast if there’s going to be a season 2! It’s clear that a lot of these don’t like each other!

I watched from the first episode and by around the 3rd or 4th episode, I couldn’t take all the fighting, right out the gate it was constant arguing n bickering and I don’t watch shows for that! I didn’t like most of the women and a couple of the husbands were kinda like pushovers, maybe it was me but, I didn’t like Dubai at all. If it gets a Season 2, I’ll pass!!

I think I understand your point of view here. But the thing is that I do understand Lesa's frustration when it comes to Nina and Stanbury.
For me personally, Stanbury and Nina reminds me a lot of people I knew that are MASTERS when it comes to keeping a good image/ throwing rocks and hiding their hands / doing their dirt under the table and manipulating other people's perceptions.
Even though I do think that Ayan and Lesa are both very reactive and are not very good at managing their emotions. Which can make them look obnauseous. I do believe that their reaction can be valid.
Anyways, I'm definitely keeping my eyes on Nina. (As well as Andy who can be sneaky at times).

Brooke, RHOBH, M2M, and RHODubai have arguments and beef that I just don't understand. It's crazy in the way they want to have a moment with someone. I think Ayana deals with understanding when to turn up and when not to turn up. I know language is a barrier and the humor is a little off. Her tone is serious but she's trying to be funny. Lesa needs to stop listening to Rich gas her up.

Thank God for Andy or this would have been all about Ayan and Lisa. I just can't get over, women living in the most expensive real estate on the planet, arguing over who got the most money, who got the most this or that, its just plain stupid to me. And hands down over who's the prettiest, it is definately Nina and Lisa with the 3 boys.

I love Ayan. I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl myself and can't stop smiling when Ayan shows up dressed to kill. I don't care that she's often overdressed. She makes me smile 😍
Even in Ladies of London Caroline S has never come across as likeable. She was very entitled in that show and in Dubai!!! What Ayan went thru..I cannot even imagine...maybe she is the way she is because of what happened to her. Imagine not being able to tell your husband what was done to you until later. All I got from Nina all season was that her father had covid...and kudos to her for filrming while that is happening.
But Stanberry is not the queen bee. You did not finish the whole story ………..Lesa and Chanel said they were going to show Stanberry who the queens are.

I get where Lesa is coming from. If my good friend has been dogging someone out to me to the point where I'm on the lookout for this person and then they just switch up and become buddy buddy...I'm going to feel weird. It's not to say that I won't get used to the friendship but I would be a bit confused at first.

I was shocked that Nina and Lesa were friends longer than the whole cast, now their friendship is on the fence which is weird. Dubai needs new cast members I'm debating about season 2 if I want to waste my time..

Bravo set the show up as if Stansbury was the queen from day one. If that wasn't true then why did she start in the first episode with not inviting Ayan to her party and making sure everybody knew it.
Ayan and Stansbury are going to become friends next season. Leesa and Brooks are going to get threatened. Sara and Nina are going to get lost in the shuffle
HEAR ME OUT: Dubai should get a second season, most housewives have a sophomore season glow up after seeing themselves and how they act on tv. Given they are all new they should be given that opportunity to grow and develop. Stanbury obviously doesn’t get a pass.
Nina and Lesa need to have a private conversation because Lesa misses their friendship and is still hurt, Seems like she wants to get back to it and let Ayan and Brooks do 6th grade.
Ayans story does not match the picture. Her argument with CS was her asking what does she do - because its still not clear. Ayan said a few times her husband takes care of her and the only thing she does is him. Later says she has a model agency blah blah blah. Her home scenes look like the prop scenes they set up on BBW so IDK maybe next season when they put it together it will make sense. No Phaedra please.

Andy Cohen does not care about women and women's issue or who would not help facilitate conflicts between women on several weekly shows and also host these reunions. The reunions show should be done by a women host who can deliver questions without looking like an immature vampire. You can count the female bodies that Andy has used and abused and then casted away when he was done with them. Kathy Griffith comes to mind. He is a bad boss. IMO.
