The medleycrew and I are back with a recap of the hottest songs this year (2014), all in one 4-minute a cappella medley! The songs were chosen based on their peak date on the Billboard Hot 100.

I know! Can't believe these songs are 3-4 years old already. Time flies!
I first watched your 2013 version of this and I was 9 years old at that time, now I'm 16! You guys are one of the reasons and inspirations of why I learned to love and enjoy singing. Even though I don't have a group to do an acapella with, I had a chance to sing with my friends and on the stage of my school. I'm turning 17 this February, how time flies XD
But anyway, I just wanna say my gratitude and thanks in this comment. This version was the one that really got stuck with me because most of the songs here are my favorite to sing. Even though I don't have that great of a voice I will still practice to improve it. I wish you all a happy 2021!

Even after 6 years this video has somehow founds its way back to my recommendation through all the weird things I have watched and phases I have been through. From video games to art to anime to wood working and much more. Glad after 6 whole years this masterpiece will be listened to again.

+Chheng Voigt - Because they are better as well. They don't have to cut scenes to do transitions. Their arrangements and transitions are insane and brilliant and I have no clue how they do it. Not to mention their mashups like, for instance, Daft Punk where they mashed up 7 different songs and won a Grammy for 2014 are just beyond compare.
+Anjalena Pentatonix has also been out there longer and are more experienced than this group. You also have to take that into consideration
+Chheng Voigt Look, I'm not saying that these singers aren't talented and they make a great group. But Pentatonix was better and more powerful than this when they started on the Sing-Off and only 3 of them knew each other until the day before that first episode. And they started doing mashups on the Sing-Off and they didn't need video cuts to do it. It was live. And I'm not just saying this as a loyal fan. I was a choir nerd myself from 2nd grade all the way through high school and I was in show choir and All-State and everything. (I'm 44 now so yes, in my day, you could join chorus in 2nd grade) And why do you think I watch PTX so much? Because it's like watching a star supernova or something. I don't know but it's just amazing and while this group in the video is great, PTX just has a touch of magic.
