I just bought the Chaga Collagen charging serum. I'm really loving this serum so far. Since it's an heavier serum I used it as my last serum before moisturizer. For my aging skin (turning 39 this year), this has been amazing on my skin. My face looks so plump and dewy. I also love the smell, it kinda reminds me of a salon/ light herbal. This is going to be apart of my usual routine now. I have dry sensitive skin. It isn't irritating and i don't have any reaction.
I know, right? Their marketing team has not been resting. Some products are def worth the hype and all. But as always, you never need “everything.” Haha. Hope this video helped!! 🪴🪴🪴
I have to say again, how much I love your honest reviews and your channel. I had bought that sunscreen on a whim, because I saw it on a couple of other channels and I hated it. The white cast is really bad on me and the amount I have to blend in starts to irritate my skin. I actually bought the toner, Vita serum, and Chaga serum a little while ago without waiting for my Ray review 😂 so I'm glad that you generally like them!
Thank you so much, T!!! Yeah, a lot of lighter skin tone influencers have been really gassing up that sunscreen... It definitely works for them, but it takes such a long time to blend in. And my skin never felt moisturized with that sunscreen on..
Wow thank you for your review about the sunscreen! I have it in my cart already because of the cheap price but I definitely pass after your review because I hate tacky sunscreen.
I was curious about Kaine's products. Thank you for the great review and teaching the phonetic way to pronounce the brand's name. I have been saying it wrong. 😏
Very thorough and visually pleasing review ❤ I have heard a lot about this brand but never investigated each product. I definitely want to test all the products you've reviewed except for the sunscreen (I'm olive / medium tan so the cast is an issue).
Thank you so much for your honesty about the sunscreen! I was really curious about the sunscreen especially with how it claims to be sweat proof and lightweight at the same time but I don't think I will be buying it anytime soon since I have very dry skin. On another note, can I ask which product you would recommend more for a brightening serum between kaine vita drop serum or the new number 5 serum of numbuzin? It can also be a different product entirely. I am battling hyperpigmentation but as I am currently on the road, I dont think I can store any serums inside a fridge. Thank you for your content!
I personally prefer No. 5 serum, but the one that says 5+! That serum has a BEAUTIFUL and light texture compared to the 5 serum. And I love Glutathione as an ingredient. I’m glad this review helped!!
Oh and about the fridge. Both this serum, Numbuzin No. 5+, and No. 5 serums do not need fridge. As long as you’re not leaving them in direct sunlight, you’ll be good!
@@rayliur I did not notice the 5+, I thought the 5 was reformulated! Which of the two do you think is more good for pigmentation and overall brightening? Thank you so much for your replies!
wow you just gave me a big realization with this video. When you spoke about how your eyes felt way down and tired when wearing the sunscreen. That was my exact experience, I just never considered that the sunscreen could be the reason! I'm testing it right now and even though there are parts I love, this sunscreen is the first one I can remember stinging on my skin on application. It goes away after a couple minutes but there must be something I'm sensitive to. And after a couple hours and one reapplication it actually starts pilling (no make up or anything over it). Unfortunately this was a miss 😔
I didnt get the stinging, but i definitely dont think its as sweatproof as they claim it to be lol and yeah i notice some pilling too throughout the day when i sweat
@@rayliur I was interested after EuniUnni first talked about it and saw the affordable price on Stylekorean so I just had it on my imaginary list of sunscreens to try. But your review has helped me reconsider
Hi, the cap thing you mentioned can be fixed. when you use the stopper thing cap is lifted so there’s no click sound when It's open/close. try adjusting the top cap part after removing the stopper. hope it helps.
Hi, did you have a chance to try out Kaine moisturizer, the green jar? I have combo skin and am wondering if it could outperform the Isntree Aqua gel cream. Thank you for your opinion.
Hi again, so i bought vita drop serum, should i use it at night or in the morning? I don't usually apply skincare in daytime except sunscreen, so can i use it at night???
Its a very gentle vitamin c serum so you can use it day or night. But i would recommend using it with your sunscreen during the day to boost the effects. Night time is also ok to use vitamin c serum.
Can the toner be good for combo more on oily side? I wish I would've waited for your review for your sunscreen review. Im darker than you and i dont know how im going to finish 5 bottles of the sunscreen. 😭
5 bottles??? 😳😳😳 You can always gift it to someone who might find it useful? 😅 The toner is perfect for my oily/combo skin. But I’m oily because I’m dehydrated. So I think that’s important to keep in mind.
@@rayliur they were on sale for $4 and 1 got included as a gift from the brand lol the deal was too good so sad that this was overhyped. Should've waited for your review 🤦🏽♀️
@@nathaliehuerta4717 ahhhh i saw the deal too! I mean, $4 for this suncreen isn't too bad if you're trying it for the first time. It's not the worst sunscreen ever, so I wouldn't mind spending $4 on it :D maybe you'll actually enjoy it hehe. OR use it on your body! I'm actually doing that now, and it blends much better on my arms than my face.
The vita drop serum works great on my sensitive skin, but it does have niacinamide which can cause irritations for overly sensitive skin types. So you might to keep that in mind.
Jumiso's Vitamin serums (they have a range of 3 products with different intensities). Neogen's Real Vita 22 Serum - LOVE that serum. Has the typical iron smell, but it really works.
I've used it with retinol before and didn't have any negative reactions. I would make sure to test both the toner and the retinol on the back of your hand first to be sure. The toner is mainly a hydration toner, so it shouldn't cause any sensitivity. But if you're someone who has had bad experiences with heavily fermented products, then I would not give it a try.
Flawless review as always! I definitely felt the tension between you and the rosemary relief gel cleanser. 😏😂
🤭🤭🤭 we are madly in love 😂
Thanks for always tuning in, bestie!!!

Surprised about the sunscreen, I thought it would be similar to texture and finish of Numbuzin 1 Sunscreen 😮

It’s very different from Numbuzin No. 1. Not even close 😂

Does the vita drop serum need to be refrigerated after opening?
Not at all. You can keep in the fridge for cooling effect but keeping it in room temperature does not cause oxidation process to speed up or anything.
