I'd like to mention that settler(s) with Superhero trait (cape) are perfect for diving tasks. You can upgrade diving building for max speed with higher injury rate and assign settler with Superhero trait there to get all the benefits with no consequences since this trait protects from being injured.

10:15 I'd like to mention you can ctrl/shift click buildings to add crafting resources to max building can keep or take away finished products. You can also use Shift+RMB when picking resources from a container to take the entire stack.

13:00 Yes, it does. At certain levels tax goes down and with that prices. Most traders could be befriended all the way to 0% tax, so you can trade with them without loosing any additional value and buy back without overpaying. Just unload truckload of bricks and glass on them or whatever you have in huge amounts to get friendship to 100% and then do the trading. I setup sand booth with 2.5 speed upgrade, assigned dude with Superhero trait to it, setup bricks and glass production right next to it and charcoal right next to them. Setup a chest which collects bricks and glass nearby and now I have truckloads of both.
13:45 BTW, you can configure which types of buildings every worker should handle, so they won't be distracted by anything else.

Just some tips (I've spent way too much time playing this demo and wishing for more)
> The most important tip: For the most important resources make sure you have storage for it and assign a villager to that container. It becomes that character's highest priority to fill it. This keeps the work stations output slot empty so it can produce more. You can currently upgrade a storage container one level to hold 40 units per slot, but it costs 20 steel ingots.
> Right now the only way to get hurt is in the dive shack. Use a SCUBA diver character in the dive shack, he works faster than anyone else diving. Also *use the super hero character in the dive shack, they can not get hurt from anything.* Air tanks you buy from the scientist trader, are put in the shack as a consumable boost that prevents getting hurt for all characters, and they last an accumulative total of 300 seconds. (longer than you think). If you use only super hero divers you don't need the air tanks. Finally equip a diver with up to two fishing rods to increase their production rate and interval - it doesn't matter what resource they are diving for.
> Always be on the lookout for golden fish. They are worth 30 in trade. You can also cook golden fish on the grill for 10 regular fish, OK if you are not hurting for food.
> If your farms are lacking seeds, upgrade the bird houses.
> Always be on the lookout for crates. They will supply you with steel, cooked meals, sometimes water, sand and wood.
> The final demo upgrade material for the water pump awaits under water.
> I now consistently reach the demo end with only 12 workers at 80% to 90% happiness. The trick to raising production is assigning workers to storage containers.

It might be an idea to build the Rabbit Hutch on the island with the Rabbits on it. There may be new/additional research related to them once that's built or it may provide a new resource...

Interesting, though kind of dark, fact. Water poisoning. Some lady, somewhere, was on a diet or something, and just chugging water. she died. too much water, it has other names, but water poisoning is one. it's, like, gallons per hour, it is a stupidly large amount, but it is actually possible.
EDIT: Not 'a little extra water' at all.
Game is starting to open up. Boats submarines and airplanes likely means a lot of new areas.
This game looks so much fun and great there is a demo to play :).
Beware.. i went and got this game because of you Z.. got sucked into the game for 6 hours lol wasted my entire sunday on it. fun little game tho. two tips for you.. some of your settlers have special abilities..utilize them.. and also you will save a fortune in fish if you shut off the Input on the birdhouses. learned that one the hard way.

Z, people have been screaming about the upgrades since episode one 😂
Videos are sometimes prerecorded. All the way to episode 5 has been recorded before seeing comments. With just having a baby and new games coming out schedules have shifted a little about videos and some were recorded but are coming out weeks later.
