I think you may have underestimated how useful those fishing nets were. You started running out of fish shortly after deleting them, so they were probably bringing in a significant amount of fish that your people picked up and used before you even noticed the fish were there. I think those boxes being caught in the nets were also your passive metal income. Also, I noticed a parrot or two carrying seeds flying off in the direction of the chickens. Was there something over there for them to be taking seeds to? Could they be heading to the island for some reason? Also, I think the medicine maker is backwards, so your guy freezes because he thinks he can't get to it. And when you're making the drinks or sugar, you can assign someone to make it temporarily and then snatch the finished product from them rather than letting the NPCs snatch it from you. I think moving the scuba fisher away from the edge contributed as well (loss of bonuses)

After moving 1 diving fisher from an edge (losing bonus) and deleting another essentially reducing fishing done by 60% 😓😓
yep he over complicates things and their less efficient and the ai navigation is a complete disaster.
Fishing Rod Level 2! You can have slightly longer range and better chance to catch Salmon!
You're right, it's not as nice looking but definitely more optimized. Only thing I would change is putting the things you can get around near the railings so you can more easily catch things that float/swim by. Also, you've got the medicine cook station backwards, I think, which is why the doc isn't making more. BTW, why haven't you assigned your supergirl to risky diving/scuba missions? She can't get hurt! 😅

At each of the crafting stations you can turn off the take out ability so you can build up a surplus when you need it
Cedric can't get to the Cookhouse because he has to go behind it and its blocked. You would have to turn it around or place it out somewhere else.

If you want to make the most out of those fishing huts, I'd suggest taking the path 1 upgrade and assign the "superheroes" the jobs, 12 second fish's!

@Z1 You really NEED the fishing rod and Friendship is so easy to get ...Spend the 5 friendship! It will be sooo worth it.
Water for the Bars can be achieved by simply movin a FULL water station to the area and palcing an empty one where you got it from. You can simply swap them out when needed. You won't have any trafic carrying water there!

The easiest way to fight that cramped feeling is expansion! There's at least 3 areas you can make into farms and crafting or collecting points.

This whole game looks like paper clip. Trade up until you have the house you wanted
This is a terrible design it may be optimized which is not needed it just looks bad this was not a needed step.
This was a bad idea keep things looking good instead of this.
Also, you have a 2-story house when the max level is 3.
You need space for certain buildings as it is for ai navigation also the doc can't make any medicine because that work area is backwards.
Also, you lost the bonus on the fish station because it not by water the settler can't dive because thirs no way to get down those fishing stations have to be near water preferably over it so they can dive at the cost of efficiency you lost efficiency on your fish, and you removed your nets so you can't collect the fish also in the description of that building it says to get the most bonus out of the building it need to be adjacent to the water meaning not in the middle of the settlement away from any water.
Everything was working fine before this redesign which I think is a complete downgrade.
you got a whole world to build in this was not needed at all.
Not every game needs to be function over form especially in this game.
You can make it efficient but make it look better than this.
