- Len Merlo is an artist, an educator, a grandfather, and he also experienced one of the greatest cultural events of the 1960's, Woodstock. Len and his friends from Elizebeth New Jersey embarked on a three day journey that unknowingly would leave a lasting impact on the rest of their lives. Although it is estimated that over 400,000 people attended Woodstock in 1969, this is his unique story of the events that took place over all three days of Peace, Love, and Music. Thank you for watching!

For all of us who wondered what Woodstock was all about, thanks for sharing your experience!
That was delightful. Thanks for putting us together. What cool memories
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Although over 400,000 people attended Woodstock, everyone’s experience was unique.
Living history!!
He can't have seen Hendrix. The running order of all the bands for Sunday was well out. Hendrix didn't come on the stage until Monday morning at 9:00 am and played till 11:30. So if he was at work Monday, it didn't happen.
It’s been quite a few years since Woodstock 1969. It’s possible he went to work Tuesday morning and drove home Monday.
@@HonJazzz It must have been Monday, Memory is foggy, but I was looking down towards the muddy mess as he was playing.
Hendrix played on MONDAY morning
Good memory, thank you
They picked up Don Draper and brought him along to Woodstock.
