- On April 4th 2018 30 Jade's Hip Hop Acadmey and House of Bhangra dancers ages 10-17 took to the court in Toronto at Half Time to Battle it out to Drake's GOD"S PLAN master mix celebrating the SUPERFAN Nav Bhatia Baisakhi Game.

I suppose you’ve gone wrong with the the generalisation somewhere. That is Punjabi culture, not Asian or even Indian. India is diverse beyond belief and we harbour thousands of cultures. So that’s a little disheartening for it to be diluted and called Asian culture. Further, the entire Asia has incredible diversity that demands to be appreciated.

House of Bhangra and Jade's Hip Hop Academy dance studio are the teachers and choreographers, Nav Bhatia the man pulled into the performance at the end also known as the NBA Superfan is who hired us to celebrate Baisakhi Month via this performance :)

So far I watched it 4 times. Can't get enough of it. As a Pakistani Punjabi, I love bhangra more than anything. I wish at the time of partition, Punjab was still together.
The Bhangra was amazing and love how it was mixed together but Hip Hop brings so many Genres and ppl together you'd never think you would see. Whether it be Bhangra, Country etc. Well done by both dance groups. This is 2 amazing parts of many more in Tha6

GT Hussler The only reason hip hop brings together more people than other types of music (such as bhangra) is because it was made with access to western instruments and technology, and the english language which was made international due to colonialism. So its really nothing special about hip hop itself.
@@IndoManiac90 for that you need a knowledge about hip hop. Me my self an artist and I can do perform on hip hop beats only ( no lyrics at all , no colonialism ). Don't just say nothing's special about hip hop , it is literally on next level and hip hop is the one that brings whole world together
