- The print on demand industry is a big one and I used the website Teespring along with Facebook ads to grow my company to over 70k in just a few short months. I used Facebook for marketing and Teespring for the printing of t-shirts. This crowd-sourced business is a brilliant idea if you're starting out.

@@FearlessDreams I did this many years ago when I was 18/19. I spent about $25k on ads. All this will be covered in the full tutorial! Can't wait to bring it out.

There is a ton of people doing this kind of video but I love your enthusiasm and sorta honesty. The speech is very basic, but it comes from the earth, genuinely some guy who didn't think he would be so successful and haphazardly made it, but you also say it's very doable if you think some simple things through and use the good opportunities.

the confusing part for me was how much did you spend on FB Ads per day?
Yeah, the profit shown is only profit from revenue - unit cost and doesn't include ads.
The fact he hasn't replied leads me to believe he spent way more than he's willing to admit.
Amazing how much the tshirt market has changed in a few years. Good for you on taking advantage of it during early growth. I am personally finding the market completely saturated by everyone copying everyone else's ideas. Of course I tend to be late to the game on these side hustles.
it is definitely over saturated now, but it's still possible, it's just slightly harder.

i think video ads are stronger nowadays. What do you mean cold niche?
@@shimmymorris1 I reached my music audience already with music video ads. and its worked, I reached a lot streams. but merch selling I see, a bit harder. I try several ways :)

Correct. All done through Teespring. Storefronts weren't a thing back then.

Hahaha, I think it's a very British thing to say, but it's awesome.
It comes from Ancient greece / ancient rome. They where the first cultures to create Coins as currency. These printing establishments where to become known as "mints" in English and the process of stamping a coin was "minting a coin". So the term "making a mint", is essentially saying that you business Idea is like making a minting machine, i,e you are going to be printing money with your business plan (not literal of course). Also here in the UK, the goverment has a coin making establishment that prints coins for the treasury it's call "the royal mint", they are kind of like the how you guys in the States have the Federal reserve.
You should make a video course, or even several, and put it on Udemy, Skillshare, etc to increase your sales and build your following. Lots of people will want to hear what you have to say and your strategies.

Retargetting is key, would always recommend that. I don't remember profit per sale, sorry. It was a long time ago. I know I spent just under 25k to make that profit.
Hey love your videos! This is the first one of yours I've seen. Just getting into Teespring myself it's super enjoyable it's awesome to put your creativity into action! I was wondering though how do you get the mock-up Style t-shirt example on Teespring. I have a few shirts up but they show only the boxy looking shirts as an example of what to buy. I'm selling Tri blend and premium t-shirts but the examples people see when they come to my store are boxy t-shirt examples. How do you get the mock-up style examples. Thank you in advance! Thanks for the video some great ideas. You sound like you're from the UK which is where I am. A course would be great because I cant see how there is much profit. When you deduct costs, sales tax, vat and fees plus if you are delivering to the UK possible import costs, how do you make a profit and still be competetive ?
Thanks, glad you like my video. You don't have to worry about a lot of thos costs. The one you have to worry about now are the advertising costs and keeping a good margin with that. Teespring handles the rest.

Sure I can, good idea. I'm in the UK, I had a ltd company but that wasn't really necessary.

So just to get it straight, you first registered the company and then went out and did this or you registered afterwards, once you started selling bucket loads?

Thank you! I wouldn't have a limit or a budget because it totally depends on how well the tshirt is doing. If the tshrit isn't getting anysales stop that ad, if it is getting sales, scale that ad and spend more

It depends on the approach you want. If you want a fast turnaround then advertise from day one and test with about $25 to see if it gets any traction.

Great video mate! My ads account got blocked too and I have no idea why ? I was half way through targeting an audience and it got blocked. What should I do??
My advice is to start a new ads account asap. From experience they won't reinstate your account, it's the most frustrating thing when it comes to Facebook!

For TeeSpring, you'll begin to get organic sales after you successfully sell about two items. I hear your stuff will be publicly put on the marketplace after that because you'll have some sort of trust score with Teespring. The first few may end up being the most difficult ones, but I'm sure you got it!
