Thats a huge amount of trim tab on the stern, is that to flatten out the wake, keep the rooster tail down or just trim the hull ? amazing looking setup out back :)
Haha yep, it's a pretty big trim tab... The shape of the hull means it's already got a pretty flat wake, we pretty much leave that trim tab set in a neutral position 90% of the time... Out to the sides of the main one are two smaller electric trim tabs for normal usage.... Thanks!
Well hello Mr Mathew my name is David Ewens and been looking everywhere to see if anyone one else had one of these, we've had ours for over 20 years ours is a rear mount V drive 23.8 step up three blade and looks the same as yours and reaches around 115 kms hour can you please tell roughly what these are worth thinking on selling ours and love your video great work hope you receive this in good health. Hi David, Great to hear from someone with the same boat, they're pretty awesome boats! We looked all over the internet before we bought it and couldn't find any information on it, let alone a video, so we decided to chuck one up on youtube. This boat can reach around 100km/h and is a direct drive with a 4 blade propellor. We had 4 skiers up behind it the other day, so its pretty powerful, as is your one by the sounds. As for their value, they'd be worth what you can get for them, in NZ direct drive boats aren't that common, jet boats are the most common inboards here, whereas in Australia, I'm pretty sure it's the opposite? The person we bought it off, brought it back to NZ with him from Australia many years ago... Regards, Matthew

Nope, it's always been an inboard boat- It's a Kayline Clinker
