  • For generations, Anatolian nomads in Turkey have sustained their
traditional lifestyle. Theirs is a life of constant migration in search of
better conditions for themselves and their livestock. But as Michal Bardavid reports from Konya in Turkey, their population is dwindling, and their nomadic existence is under threat.

In Turkey Yörüks are seen as the real Turks of Turkey. In fact they are Turkmens. But in Turkey still lives many Turkmens tribes. I am a Turkmen too. Turkmens are real Oğuz Turks. The term "Turk" don't exist as a tribal name. The word "Turk" is just a preamble for all Turkic people who speak a Turkic language.
In history they always called us Turkmens and we are the descendants of the seljuks. Ottomans are no real Turks. They are in most cases turkified slaves who gave their life for the sultan, but many were non Turkic. And even ottoman is not a Turkic tribes name, it's just a name for people who followed Osman Gazi and his descendants.
Foreign people are often confused when they see so called "Turks" from Turkey, who look not even close like us. They are 9 of 10 cases fake Turks.
Whoever has not Turkmen roots, is not a Oğuz Turk that's for sure. And we can easily prove it by DNA, culture and tribe. Many in Turkey are turkified and don't even know their real identity, but we Turkmens never forgot it, even after Assimilation. Now take a good look to real Oğuz Turks

      'The Mongols'
Turks and Mongols are related, at one point they spoke even one language.
But it is right, the Mongols managed to defeat the Turkic tribes in East Asia, leading them to migrate to Europe and Middle East, creating their own empires like Seljuqs, Pechenegs and Kumans. Later, under the great Khan, they, the Mongols, managed to invade Central Asia, and this lead to another invasion of İran, Middle East and Europe. Some Begs, who claimed to be descandent of the great Khan, created their own empire in Asia. But today, they are 200 million Turkic people in total, while Mongols come up to 8 millions.

Altaic Language Family is no longer accepted by researchers.
As most researchers pointed out, Mongol and Turks are not related languages.
As evidence by how different the proto-language is from its current form.
Meaning Mongolian and Turkic influenced each other by proximity not by relation.
Example if Mongolian and Turkic were from the same root then why does Mongolian
differ from Turkic the further you go back in history? Simple Turkic and Mongolian is a "Sprachbund"

    • @mongolchiuud8931
      @mongolchiuud8931 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Only 11 million Mongols, you left out the Kalmyks,Daurs,Tuyuhu and Uriankhais etc etc.
And there is 200 million Turks because the majority of Turks today are former slaves of the Ottoman Empire who for various reason thought it would be better for life to adopt Turkic and assimilate, hence why 99% of Western Turks have zero central asia dna or at the very least less then 10% and instead share Male line DNA with Armenians and Greeks.
Real Oghuz 300 years before the Mongols were ASIAN FACED. True Turk.

There is no historical information about any nomads in Anatolia until after the Turkish invasion. Also that Greek influence around the Mediterranean world is due to Greek colonies not nomadism, Greeks were never nomadic. You don't have to be nomadic to migrate, every people group that exists has migrated somewhere.

In Asia Minor, where it is called Turkey today, we turkish people are descendants of Byzantines and Hittites. Yet, people groups such as Manavs (ancient Maryandinoi), Greeks (Hellens), Lazs, Georgians and Pomaks during the Ottoman time islamised, and turkification of the settlement names started alread in Bithnynia near Constantinople. Osman and his clan used to give cheese and milk to the Byzantine. The Manavs were in the fields to do agriculture, winery, sunflower, weat, fruits as serfdom workers. The Ottomans took this tradition over and continued. That is why during the Ottomans time many villagers protest the government by shouting " We want shariyya, we want private property!" The ordinary villagers who would not pay tax, went to the mountains in order to escape. They killed the gendarme. Many of them were excommunicated and not seen a real sunni muslim. These Byzantines indigenous people are called Yörüks today. They have the same DNA results with us other islamised indigenous people of Asia Minor. Yörük means ''RUNNER'' e.g a Yügrük Horse (A runner horse) see the dictionary of Mahmud Al-Kashgari. Pomaks and Lazs are losing their mother languages. This is the state politics of Turkish Republic in Turkey. The goats were brought by Kurds to Asia Minor, before we had only sheep. The Kurds are the people who make goats pets.
