At the end of the day when i first started cutting hair i knew a barber that use only a pair or seniors, and t liners, and wahl foil shaver, literally used a toothbrush to clean his tools. Was one of the best barbers ive ever seen. All that stuff was corded btw and he only had 1 of each. The tools dont make the cut, the barber does. I guarantee i can give a very good barber a cheap set of tools and a student barber top of the line equipment and i put all the money in the world that i own and that i will make for the rest of my life that the good barber with cheap tools haircut will be 100000000x better. There will be littler difference from him cutting with the good tools to the bad tools, might take a little longer and you MIGHT be able to find a few spots that dont look exactly the same but there will be no noticeable difference in appearance.

Also to add something to the one good point this man made, there really is no excuse to not cut hair if you want to. Those clippers he bought were corded but you can legit find cordless clippers for like $50 online. I guarantee for under 100 you can find both a cordless trimmer and clipper. While it wont be the best product out it will be more than sufficient to learn, you likely cant make use of the benefits a more expensive clipper/trimmer can provide to you anyways with your skill level. And once you do build that skill it will feel so much better moving from cheap to expensive equipment.
