Curls of a CPA did a video on Donna's Recipe after using it for a month before washing her hair, and she loves it. Her hair stayed moisturized for 2 weeks before she needed to refresh or retwist her hair. The definition and moisture were crazy. I think that is one I will try.
Fact!! We got plenty. Even can make our own!! I live in New Hampshire. There was a huge article in the paper that black people got to drive far for hair products. I learned everything On you tube!! And Chile, you taught me a lot!!!

I’ve been natural on & off my entire life and became a “product junkie” lol because of my two daughters. When they started middle school around 2011, they wanted to do their own hair & that began the journey. To this day, they are still natural hair girls, but are into wigs, so much that they learned to make them & will sometimes sell them to make extra coins while at college. For us now, it’s all about skincare. Besides my skin type, I know my husbands, my daughters & my two sons lol. So any talk about skincare, I’m listening. Thanks to you, I’m currently waiting on my order for the Biore UV watery sunscreen you mentioned in a previous video. I even delve into it when I do online product reviews. People may see it as a bother, but it should be viewed as possibly saving time, money, and their hair. Same for skincare. You don't have to become a professor on it, but being somewhat informed is best.

Living Proof has a curly hair line that was done with an AA hair stylist, Ursula Stephen. I enjoyed the curl cream in that line. They have a curl elongator and S/C too. I have been seeing some of it at TJ Maxx and Marshall's. You can get at Ulta too, just costs more.
I picked up the Donna’s recipe because the ingredients were pretty clean and simple, so I plan to use them on my kiddos. So far so good on the oil, and cream. I have used the leave in yet but if it performs like the other products I’ll continue to support.

Redken is a salon brand that is under L'Oreal group (as well as pureology, matrix and kerastase). So often times L'Oreal will make a dupe for the drugstore market, which I think is smart of them especially since there are people who don't want to buy redken due to it's price but still want to use a similar albeit cheaper, product. Hence the L'oreal Everpure product.

I just used the everpure products for the first time and I must say my hair felt so good while washing. I’m sure it’s no where close to planked but I will continue to use it until I purchase olaplex
Mielle (I know) has a new line out at CVS. This Avocado & Tamanu line. There’s a shampoo, a leave-in, some sort of “stay straight serum” and a curl defining cream at $12.79 a piece. Kaleidoscope also has some line at CVS with Da Brat. I forget all they have, but I know there’s a mousse and like three gels for braiding.

The truth is that we've been Naturals for a while and we tried A LOT of products and at this time of our Journey we understand ingridients lists and we KNOW what works for us. Plus we accumulated stash for a life time and we need to use it. Thats why these releases are a hard pass. I personally dont even use Black friday to buy /experiment New releases anymore, im stocking only my staples. As always, you are GORGEOUS 🤎

Bond repair hype is annoying because the only formulated product that will repair bonds is the Olaplex, everything is is Bond strengthening. They’re just making products that give a strengthened feel to the hair

Citric acid???? Lol from an esthetician stand point I know they use it to lower the ph bc as a formulator myself that’s what we use it for but citric acid can be drying and make your hair weak and brittle it also bleaches hair naturally so a line with a lot of citric acid I’ll run from 😭

Honestly, These other products will NOT do what Olaplex does. They just can’t. Neither can Curlsmith but it’s always 50% off at Ulta.

Citric acid???? Lol from an esthetician stand point I know they use it to lower the ph bc as a formulator myself that’s what we use it for but citric acid can be drying and make your hair weak and brittle it also bleaches hair naturally so a line with a lot of citric acid I’ll run from 😭

I can't stand the TB Sweet potato shampoo the conditioner 👎🏾 my daughter is 3c and I can't get her hair soft with it! Leave in is good but I won't repurchase any of the 3 products I tried.
