I wouldn't mind playing the game again, but I'm having problems with my Wii-U system because every time I try to play my Wii games on the Wii-U system for an unknown reason the system shuts itself off.

I had Blennophobia as a child and while I was searching on youtube and stumble on the Nickelodeon Mario Party 9 commercial, I didn't know what I was going to watch because the Thumbnails were far away. When I watched it, I had a whole week of no Internet because I was scared. Please do not bully me because I was scared of Slime as a child. I am old enough and I am mad at my young self for being scared.
Everything wrong with Mario Party 9: 1. First and foremost, this game introduced the car mechanic, which was a very bad idea to begin with and made many fans of the series upset. This was primarily due to previous Mario Party games receiving weaker reviews from critics for the repetitive concept, so Nd Cube attempted to rework the series in hope of gaining better reception from critics without any consent or care to fans. Because of the gameplay changes, it eliminates most of the strategy, which the Mario Party series is known for having. Most of time, the winner is the player who often rolls higher numbers, as they will be able to gain more Mini Stars quickly compared to a player who rolls low, yet performs well in minigames. 2. The boards have so many problems. First off, they have generic, unimaginative themes. Also, the boards are short and linear, but sometimes can take longer than they need to. 3. The music, while not bad, isn't very memorable and easy to forget. 4. Bob-omb Factory and Magma Mine are infamous for having crippling metho ds of losing many Mini-Stars. In Bob-omb Factory, you get a Bob-omb on your car that explodes after moving ten spaces. In Magma Mine, lava will eventually rise and rolling too low can result in getting caught in it. Both the Bob-omb and the lava make you lose half of your Mini-Stars, and it is extremely crippling to the point where having a Bob-omb explode on you or being burnt by the lava is instant loss of the game. 5. In Blooper Beach, near the end you might always land on a Lucky Space 3 times which can make the game go longer than needed to. 6. The Bowser minigames aren't even original. They're just altered versions of normal minigames where you have to lose the minigame, which had potential, but only has four minigames. 7. If Shy Guy or Kamek come first place in Story Mode, you have to play the entire board again, which while it is understandable since they're playing for Bowser, can make gameplay take even longer than it should be. 8. The Coins in this game were replaced by the Mini-Stars, in which it makes no sense at all. 9. The only items you can use are Dice Blocks. 10. Sometimes you can go forever without getting a turn as your opponents can land on several dash spaces or you might get put last when someone lands on a shuffle space. 11. The 2-vs.-2, battle and duel minigames are gone. Speaking of battle minigames, there's a battle space and you can still battle for Mini-Stars, but you just play the same old free-for-all minigames instead of unique 4-player minigames.
@@ivanzoneBR First of all, you're missing out on nothing by not playing Mario Party 9. It's not my opinion, nothing of substance actually happens, and you'll gain almost nothing from it. Second of all, more importantly, just buy a Wii. They're not that expensive, at least not compared to a Switch.

Super wasn't that bad. just felt a bit missing. Online play was just minigames(until the update which took 3 years). The boards felt lackluster since it was designed to be played at partner party and Mario Party. They should have made each board be designed differently like domino ruins should be designed into two different boards so that one is designed for Mario party while one is designed for partner party, but both would have the same traps, events, and features. Not to mention, there are only 4 boards while the past games have 6 or more boards. Also, the heavy reliance on motion controls and the use of only one Joy-con makes the experience not that great. Superstars is basically the better choice for playing party games on the switch. Sure it may only have 5 boards, but it's better than top 100 since they also brought back n64 boards instead of just the minigames.
I currently only own 3, 8, DS, 9, Island Tour, Star Rush, and Superstars. I used to own 10, Top 100, and Super, and I only tried Advance once. To me, I believe that the car mechanics from 9 were only upgraded slightly with 10, yet they have more potential to be more acceptable for the fans of the old games but also fans of those 2 games. I’m part of both camps There is also potential with the grid based boards from Star Rush and Super (ie Toad Scramble, Balloon Bash, & Partner Party). And my favorite board from Island Tour: Kamek’s Carpet Ride, has biggest potential to be its own style of Mario Party entirely. But all of that is what I think at least.
It's a shame that this series had gone down mp9 mp10 should have been more. Also the developers of these games also created the worst Nintendo game of all time animal crossing amiibo festival

To many fans, this game started the downfall of the Mario Party series.
Really, the only bad games were Advance and Top 100.
Still, No. 4 and No. 10 were kinda meh.
